After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I tend to agree because I know Jeb was trying...but another part of me feels he wasn't willing to take a risk. I have pictured him weeping over this, however. I know I would have if I were him.
Read an article about a family who's mom had Alzheimer's and later slipped into a coma. Her feeding tube was removed. She only lived FIVE days. Yet, here is Terri on day 11. At this point I hope the angels take her soon to end this suffering.
The hosts I listen too were already so upset with Bush and the GOP over illegal immigration they were close to walking, pro-life was all that was keeping them on board. And now this, The GOP is going to be tarred and feathered on talk radio tomorrow. If Terry can hang on, I think the pressure to rescue her will be to much, even Democrats are disgusted over this.
Oh dear Lord..........I am literally becoming ill with worry for my disabled children. I don't know what to do. Should I try to hide them? Even I could be considered a usless eater since I am unemployed (stay at home Mom). I am afraid to pursue therapy for them or even confirm diagnosis. Can't type anymore ...can't see well. *crying*
I agree. We need to copy as much info as we can in our personal files.
But what do we do with the information?
I say send it to the Bush brothers, and the media, so that if Terri dies, they won't allow her body to be cremated to hide the evidence.
I am still praying and hoping for a miracle, and what a wonderful miracle that would be.
Actually, I think MS is the Judas character here if he did it for the money and let a lawyer do the dirty work.

I believe this absolutely. It has been prophesied. Our requirement by God is that we still speak up and defend against the evil. "God is in control" is fine... and true. But we, as followers, are still supposed to act.
This can seem insane at times and it is beyond our ability to understand but we are still supposed to obey. God not only "is in control" but also "in charge"...:-)
If a pro-life GOP government, all the way from DC to whatever county in Fla, with 7/9 judges on the Supreme court GOP nominees, can't stop a county probate judge from straving a woman to death, what good is the GOP?

I am a life long Republican, however, I no longer give a rip about politics. If this country does not have laws on the books to save a helpless disabled girl from Murder by Starvation, from her abusive husband, then you tell me...

I understand just how you feel. But, no, we're not supposed to hide. We are supposed to stand face to face against this horrid and treacherous crap.
You guys all need to print out hard copies of everything you find online. Especially pdf files. Who knows when all of them will disappear.
This case is huge and the forces, that are behind it, know it.
What good is the GOP. Better than the alternative.

Well, if you have disabled or sick children, I suggest you do what reasonable people do. Take them to the pediatrician and quit weeping till you know the score. Geeze, you just joined up to wring your hands. Woman, you are a mother by your account, act like one and not a ninny.
These threads USED to be about Terri.
Now they are only another venue to spew hate at the President or Republicans. Might as well be on an immigration thread.
Imagine that. They aren't gods. They aren't kings. Who'd have thought.
I pray God relieves her pain. I pray this nation realizes how wrong it was to approve starvation with every breathe she draws. And I thank ONE Party for having the guts to stand up for Life given one side prefers Death, and the other is looking for a Savior among men and so will be disatisfied at the limits of earthly beings.
Thank you Mr. President. Thank you Governor Bush. And thank you Republicans.
