How do you know that she's not going to get communion tomorrow morning to celebrate the Resurrection?

A priest was just on Fox begging M.S. to allow Terry Holy Communion. M.S. denied the request.
We are witnessing pure evil, satanic forces in play. If I did not know any better, I think I was dreaming.

When this story broke I took a quick look and thought, no big deal, no way this woman dies. this is a no brainer. Now a month or two later I can't believe that I am seeing. The fallout from this will shake the foundation of the nation. This is bigger then Waco or Ruby Ridge or even 911. Those I could understand, enemies, poor judgements, Justice department gone crazy. This invovles every level of government and exposes all as either evil or cowardly.

You are missing the point. They are TRYING to deny her Holy Communion. Terri's priest was begging on TV to let him give her Holy Communion. What are they afraid of?
To: jpsb
yes and no it doesn't, it says and by him refered to the court is denied. Exactly. It says he referred it to the court and it was denied.

Do you think she will go to hell if she doesn't get Holy Communion again?
What are you afraid will happen if they don't allow it?
How many times do you think they should give her communion? Weekly? Daily? Hourly?

"An emergency filing to the high court would go first to Justice Anthony Kennedy, a Reagan appointee who has staked a moderate position on social issues.
Kennedy would have the option to act on the petition alone, although on previous emergency requests involving Schiavo he has referred the matter to the full nine-member court. "

Are you trying to be funny? Well your not. Terri is a Martyr.
To: jpsb
what does "by him refered to the court is denied" mean? It means that "him" (Kennedy) referred "it" (the request for a stay) to the "court" (the nine Justices) before it was "denied" (not granted).
This article says the same thing:
In a one-sentence notice, the court said that the matter had been presented to Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, and referred by him to the full court. But it offered no explanation as to why it was denied. The justices seldom elaborate when they turn down cases decided by lower courts.

"The Schindlers' appeal went first to Justice Anthony Kennedy, a Reagan appointee who has staked a moderate position on social issues. Kennedy has responsibility in the first instance for cases emanating from the Southern district that is home to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta. He referred the Schiavo case to the full nine-member court."
I stand corrected thanks, the entire court rejected the appeal. My opinioun of the court just took a nose dive.

Are you trying to be funny? No, I'm just asking. It's debatable as to whether she even knows she's receiving communion. I'm just asking whether you think receiving communion will make an eternal difference to Terri, or whether you think the idea she's taken communion will make others feel better about her status.
And in either case, how often does she need communion to accomplish the desired effect?
Since I'm Protestant and not Catholic, I may not understand all the ramifications involved here.

The comunion is more for the benefit of her blood family, it would confort them. Terry fate is already sealed.

That is a good question, but remember it would take 4 votes for the case to win the right of appeal. So it could be it only got three or it could be that it didn't get any.
Seems all public officals are hiding in the bomb shelter on this one.

No. As a Roman Catholic we believe that Jesus Christ is truly present in the Holy Eucharist. When we receive the Holy Eucharist, Jesus Christ unites with your Spirit in a special Spiritual way. We become closer and more in union with the Holy Trinity. Her parents are giving her a gift from God. I am sorry that you don't see that.
To: JonDavid
Hey, don't be sorry to anyone if they can't see what you and I can regarding the Holy Eucharist. That's THEIR problem. We know what it is and we love it and it fills our hearts with the joy some will never know.
