Are you trying to be funny?

No, I'm just asking. It's debatable as to whether she even knows she's receiving communion. I'm just asking whether you think receiving communion will make an eternal difference to Terri, or whether you think the idea she's taken communion will make others feel better about her status.

And in either case, how often does she need communion to accomplish the desired effect?

Since I'm Protestant and not Catholic, I may not understand all the ramifications involved here.

As a Roman Catholic we believe that Jesus Christ is truly present in the Holy Eucharist. When we receive the Holy Eucharist, Jesus Christ unites with your Spirit in a special Spiritual way. We become closer and more in union with the Holy Trinity. Her parents are giving her a gift from God.
