By refusing to release records to DFCS, Greer has in effect blocked an investigation into possible allegations of abuse and neglect. Terri cannot speak for herself. Her medical records speak for her.

Greer knows that.

Her "husband" will have the body cremated immediately. No autopsy.

God has hardened many judges hearts in this.

Exactly, Judge Greer does not have the legal power to prevent the executive branch from enforcing a valid law.

That is United States Supreme Court precedent and the Law of the Land.

I have a feeling that is Jeb is on the verge of political suicide, if he helps Terri at all.

I think you're right. That's why he is in a very difficult position. But, not only is his political career in jeopardy, he could actually be subjected to criminal or civil proceedings if he acts. I do not envy him.

Greer needs to be put in state custody too.

Thorough investigation by who? Apparently Greer controls this entire case and he isn't going to budge. A couple more days and it will all be over and the politicians and judges will all go about their lives like nothing happened. Jeb Bush and Florida are the only options left and it will take a bold action by Bush that I don't think he will do. It will have to be disobeying a direct judicial order and he won't do that. I hope I am wrong.

Hey, it's much better to enact laws based on an emotional response. That way, whenever we feel like it, we can change the way things work.

And if it doesn't work in our favor, we can have a riot.

(at least that seems to be what I am hearing here)

While Terri's plight is tragic and sad, she will soon be at peace. Like it or not, she will be better off in Heaven than here on earth in her current state.

The Supreme court said no but this is still going back to Greer because the State wants to take over Terri. Of course Greer is the one who is siding with the husband just like he sided with husband in a wife beating case and the woman ended up being stabbed to death by her husband!

They are storming the national assembly of KYRGYZSTAN as we speak!

For FREEDOM!

Why don't we have a storming of the hospice, led by Governor Bush, for LIFE!

I guess morality and Christianity are just 'words' for some people.

Sad to see that the final word has been granted, and that this innocent, suffering girl has to die this Holy Week or Easter Week.

It reeks of paranoia.

Actually it reeks of conspiracy. Regardless of what one may think as far as whether Terri's feeding tube should be reinserted, it's blindingly obvious that her scumbag "husband" is hiding something. My guess is that some fairly large life insurance policy payouts are in the works, and Greer stands to get some kickback from it.

As in so many other facets of life -- follow the money.

Some of the comments on here are sickening! The President followed the Constitution!

Why don't you focus on the pleading of her incomepent attorneys -- they didn't even plead what was required? But no you people would rather slam Jeb or the President for not doing enough.

Look at her side and the incompetence from the lawyers who make mistakes in a pleading to the Supremes to adding Larry Klayman to having Randall Terry for a spokesman who could turn an arch pro-lifer off.

It starts with an out of control State Judge Greer with a slimey attorney Felos who he seems to be in partnership with at some level and both hiding some things which I believe are evil. Then throw in the incompetent people representing Terri's parents. All this going on while Terri's life hangs in the balance.

And some of you have the nerve to blame the Bush Family -- place the blame where it belongs!

"By refusing to release records to DFCS, Greer has in effect blocked an investigation into possible allegations of abuse and neglect. Terri cannot speak for herself. Her medical records speak for her. "

That is entirely possible, but will not come into play until some time after Terri is already dead.

I believe you are wrong. The Fla house will not impeach him. He will be a hero if he acts. This is our Bunker Hill it is time to start an all out political war on the judiciary and put it in it's place.
