Around here they think and act like little Greers. The truth is though that if your mother asked you to stay they could intimidate but could not force you to leave.
Just doing what you've done will help you do it the next time you need to write or call. I am the same way at times, but when you get on fire about something, you'll find the strength. I am not good on the phone, either. But others are. We all do our part. :)

I haven't been on the other Terri threads because I was staying away from the computer. For those who have been on them for a long time, bless you. I know you must hurt terribly. I hurt terribly. Yes, I agree whole heartedly.
I faxed that section of state law to Governor Bush and his legal counsel's office this morning. They know what the law says. They've ignored it. They approached it through the first part regarding non-emergency removals. It requires that one petition the court first.
If killing a disabled adult by starvation and dehydration isn't an emergency, then I don't know what is.
They know. I know they know, but sent it to them anyway, and cited the entire chapter with the relevant parts highlighted.
It's my turn to bow out now. I'll be traveling tomorrow, but will try to check in later in the day.

A few thoughts:
First, I'm sick and tired of hearing how we supposedly live in a "civilized society" when Terri is being murdered and no one is supposed to do anything. Tell that to the "uncivlized" in the Urkraine, Lebanon, Iraq and Kababababababaizstan that pour out into the streets defying the "law" to force those in control of their lives to leave them alone in the name of freedom. Why don't millions show up around the judge in Florida's house and protest? He'd have to be intimidated and, frankly, intimidation at this point is frugal.
Second, I saw that total moron Juan Williams on "Special Report" tonight arguing the stupid liberal line of "the judges said this, the judges said that, the judges...the judges". Fine Juan, let's make judges gods and thus re-enforce the Dred Scott decision the judges upheld in the Supreme Court and force you to the back of the "separate but equal" train car. He's so intellectully inferior it's hilarious.
Personally, I'd just hire a group of mercenaries to take Terri out of that venue and place her in private, secret care and damn anyone that tries to stop me. Oh, sorry, that would be "uncivilized".
