Gibbs isn't on his own, is he? I would hope he had tons of behind the scene help!
Godd night, Knitting. :)

LOL!!!!!
I thought that Whittemore would rule tonight. We heard that he would rule before he went to bed. It must be 1am on the East Coast.
Amen!

"Don't start that with me. I am not responsible for her."
Who said that? Pontius Pilate?
"how is it that this is being ignored, the DCF backing off taking charge of this situation with Terri? And Jeb's attorneys not enforcing the DCF's rights?"
I don't get it either. DCF has rights over EVERYone. Even though I have power of attorney, I had to leave the room with my Mom in order for them to talk with her alone, and was told they had that authority, and that I had none. How can DCF allow Greer to say "no you can't go check out Terri" or Michael saying "no they can't come in"???
That's from the Declaration of Independence. I was gently corrected the other night.
your name seems to be a lot like mine
I know she's in pain, and it's water under the bridge, but has anyone asked her why they don't have a high-powered federal litigation specialist (a conservative from the ranks of the Federalist Society) representing them?
Also, why they had to link up with Randall Terry - a sure way to turn off the media, just when they need to generate as much sympathetic publicity as possible? Has anyone asked the family these no-brainer questions? I find it incredibly frustrating that they've allowed a mediocre attorney to draw up their pleadings, and one of the most controversial people on the pro-life side (Randall Terry) to be their spokesman. (And I'm pro-life - but I understand the demands of PR, especially in a life-or-death emergency situation)
We all have called, faxed, emailed; you are not alone. Everyone here has done that. That we pray too only means that we've taken our pleas to the ultimate arbiter.
I understand that you are upset, but we are all in this together. Blaming prayer doesn't make any sense at all. Did the prayerful ignore requests by the debaters to raise funds to replace Gibbs as counsel? Or did such a request exist before his motions were ruled upon?
No, many here pray because it's the very BEST thing we can do! But many of us DO act as well... in fact, I bet I can safely say the majority of us all act in one way or another to do whatever we're called to do to help. But that is pretty unfair of you to say some pray so they don't HAVE to act.
I've got neighbors who are THE NICEST and most conservative people in their beliefs. 'Cept they won't vote. Why? They're afraid they'll get called in for jury duty. Isn't that something?
And, a member of my family...who has been told all the dirty tricks of Shiavo etal STILL thinks it should be left to the courts. And believes that protesting is ridiculous.
Yes. We have a LOT of work to do.
I read the posts with the bad report of Whittemore's cruelty.
We'll see.
Are you saying he didn't?
Night nic....sleep well, my friend.
