a general comment to those who are ready to write off Jeb Bush.
We can not be little children because we loose this battle. It is not over yet.
Even IF it does not end with life, we have to see what is or is not being done.
If this was a "clinton" or a "kerry" or a "gore", they would have thrown in the towel, flown down to the hospice, and miled it for all the face time possible. (see clinton at ron brown's funeral)
A wise marine once told me, you never loose you only run out of time. Time has not run out.
Yes. and of course Wallace was elected President eventually in 1964, and standing up for civil rights back in the 1960s is now considered to have been "evil" and "too risky" /sarc

The Schindlers' attorneys said they planned to request a temporary restraining order so new evidence could be introduced in federal court. A hearing was set for 6 p.m. EST.
U.S. District Judge James Whittemore (search) of Tampa would preside over the hearing, attorneys said. Whittemore on Tuesday denied the Schindlers' request to have the tube reinserted, saying they had not established a "substantial likelihood of success" at trial on the merits of their arguments.
I appreciate your comments.
Keep watching the news huh? Well, I hope and pray Jeb does something! God help him!
Perhaps in the minority, but definitely not alone. In my opinion, that association was the worst possible thing that could have happened to the "save Terri" cause...my opinion.
It was more peaceful.... but I have this burning thirst for knowledge sometimes.. and then I would become frustrated, because I'd been spoiled by knowing things NOW.
I especially applaud the "crime" of inconvenience part, and applaud you for the effort.
God I am trying. I am really trying but getting so disheartened. I haven't even turned on the TV cause I hate all the yakking while Terri lies near death. It's heartbreaking...it's mean, it's hateful and it's a rush to KILL this young woman and no one will help. I hope you are right about what you said. I will wait and pray in the meantime. Thank you.

Thank you again, MeekOneGOP!
God bless!!!
I don't know, but isn't the governor also not liable for prosecution for doing his duty?
I know I read somewhere that judges are not. Are judges allowed special privileges in this regard that the other branches are not?
Maybe someone else knows. I sure don't.
I simply don't understand either. A county judge has a govenor and the US Legislature routed and he's winning.
Yes it was! Mary!
"If Governor Bush leads state officials and state marshalls up the sidewalk to the hospise door, local and county police will part and stand aside no matter what Judge Greer may have told them."
Show me the statute that gives him this power, because if he has it, I am sure he would have invoked it by now. But if you know of it, please share. I am just not finding anything he could hang his hat on and not be ruled unconstitutional on or arrested for, because that doesn't help Terri at all. They arrest Jeb and then pull Terri's tube again :(
Oh good grief, I'm such an idiot sometimes. I meant I was at a job site of mine and was checking in. I didn't even think how that sounded. Sorry about that.
I wish I was able to get down there though. I hate that I misspoke and had you thinking I was down there.
I certainly hopes this comes to pass.
Can someone with computer graphics skills make a beautiful graphic of Terri's statement..."Where there's life, there's hope!"...Terri Shiavo. So that every time we start faultering in our hope it can be posted to lift our spirits.
do you think Gov. Bush liked being ordered around by Judge Greer? I bet it ticked Jeb off!
"I love my OB."
When I was volunteering at my local RTL office, stuffing envelopes for people who had pledged money during a walk-a-thon, I found my OB and her husband's name.. needless to say I love mine too!
One would think so but that takes courage. He probably thinks he'd be wasting political capital on one life and doesn't understand he's losing power and credibility.
