Yes, exactly. If Greer is breaking law, why is Bush expected to lay down and let him?

I think my point was that Greer is not following the law, why is Bush? I know you agree with me.

I am waiting for Terri's death now. Everything has been done that can be done. There is NO ONE LEFT to help this woman. Shame on everyone involved...they are just stalling so she will die in the meantime. may God save Terri's soul and to hell with those who never lifted a finger to help her.

King George III's ruling was law too, until we got fed up with being taxed without representation. I don't remember Patrick Henry, George Washington, Sam Adams or John Hancock saying, "Oh well, it's the law and there's nothing we can do about it"

Our colonial and state representatives were FAR braver men than we see in office today. Why are they considered heroes for defending our freedoms and rights, sometimes by force. yet, considered criminal if they do the same today? Remember, these were Godly men, not Libs.

Sheesh. (I'm beginning to think) Bobby Kennedy and Nick Katzenbach had more testes over this kind of thing--these kinds of hard ball showdowns over matters of principal--than the ones who should be my OWN heroes!

"An imperfect republican is far better than a perfect socialist."

The lesser of two evils is still an evil.

You do mean Greer, right? Or just RINOs in general? Greer and the county govt. are overwhelmingly GOP. The county GOP backs him 100%. As does GOP-FLA apparently. What has the national GOP done about that?

My vote isn't in yet, and is contingent on how these issues are handled. Putting party first - and principle, morality and conscience second - makes one a person who is solely concerned with power. Or feeling power vicariously by hitching his wagon to it.

Can anyone please recommend some good links with info on Michael as abusive husband + the foul play theory (medical evidence, contradictive testimonies, etc)? Anything on Michael as a BAD husband of Terri. I would appreciate that a lot, thanks.

If Governor Bush leads state officials and state marshalls up the sidewalk to the hospise door, local and county police will part and stand aside no matter what Judge Greer may have told them.

The Republican Party phone # is 202-863-8500.

Now I'm focusing on President Bush. I told the Republican Party (answering machine) I've been a member of the Republican Party for only a couple of years, and I'm not impressed. I told him President Bush should use his executive powers and put Terri in protective custody, or pardon her for the "crime" of inconvenience.

I told them I would not contribute $$ to them any more.

P.S. Thanks for the info and for calling. :)

Yes, and even Clinton and Reno (whom I detest) had cajones to do what they felt needed to be done, and to h##l with what the judiciary thought about it. I simply don't understand how Greer is suddenly King of America these days.

I am waiting for Terri's death now.

I'm almost there but not quite. There is a new case, a new lawyer, new evidence and the dynamic that this could change the outcome. We are used to being turned down time and time again because of the old case and "procedure" and one judge after the other endorsing that. But, there is still a sliver of hope that with the new evidence and absent the crooked judge Greer, the tube could be re-inserted. It's possible. hang in there.

And George C. Wallace's action that day also guaranteed his victory in the Michigan presidential primary a number of years later.

"I'm ready! I wouldn't step foot in that state for anything after this ordeal. Someone might get injured and end up in a hospital and on the other end of the court against George Felos and his death organization."

Many of us are already boycotting. Want to make it twice as effective - then hit them in another place it will hurt - ORANGES!
Here's an info file on the orange boycott, and links to be contacted.

BOYCOTT FLORIDA
No Florida Oranges or Orange Juice!

No Florida lemons, limes, tangerines or grapefruit either.

Until Terri Schindler Schiavo is safe - Until the laws are changed to protect all like Terri - Until the laws are changed to protect all the disabled from murder by judicial decree - DON'T BUY ANY FLORIDA CITRUS PRODUCTS.

Tourism is big in Florida. The citrus fruit industy, however, is a much longer standing part of Florida's culture, and has heavy influence with the legislature and country governments. If the fruit growers and processors start losing money, they will put pressure on all branches of government to change.

Look at every piece of fresh fruit, every label, and every container of fruit juice.
IF IT SAYS FLORIDA - DON'T BUY IT!

Please write to the Florida Department of Citrus, fruit growers and fruit processors. Tell them you won't be buying any more of their products, and why you won't buy them.

California, Arizona and Texas grow some mighty fine fruit and make really good fruit juice.
Write the citrus fruit growers and processors in those states and tell them you will be buying their products - and tell them why you will.

Exactly as Governor Wallace's Alabama troopers, who made their statement first, STOOD ASIDE as Nick Katzenbach went in and helped register the college students, backed up by the full faith and credit of the United States of America.

I have NO DOUBT that state or local police would have no choice but to stand aside at that hospice tonight, with the Governor and the full faith and credit of the Government of the State of Florida and the People, with him.

FWIW...after many disappointing tries to call the Govenor, I finally reached a real person. After I stumbled trough my comments about this not being just Terri but judicial tyrany, she said she would note my call.

I couldn't let her hang up before commenting on the fact that he said he had given up. To paraphrase, she said ' No ma'am, he is still working behind the scenes. Keep watching your news'.

Yes, you know I would love it if he could go in and get her. Greer ruled PVS on the testimony of HINO's hired doctors and until that is reversed....we are at a stalemate

There is something so evil about this entire situation. I was reminded of a line from Macbeth...
(As said by one of the witches "...by the prick of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes" analysis by www.sparknotes.com, very eerie... Reminds me of the judges in this case...
Analysis: Act IV, scenes i–iii Excerpted:
The witches are vaguely absurd figures, with their rhymes and beards and capering, but they are also clearly sinister, possessing a great deal of power over events. Are they simply independent agents playing mischievously and cruelly with human events? Or are the “weird sisters” agents of fate, betokening the inevitable? The word “weird” descends etymologically from the Anglo-Saxon word “wyrd,” which means “fate” or “doom,” and the three witches bear a striking resemblance to the Fates.../snip/ Perhaps their prophecies are constructed to wreak havoc in the minds of the hearers, so that they become self-fulfilling. It is doubtful, for instance, that Macbeth would have killed Duncan if not for his meeting with the witches. On the other hand, the sisters’ prophecies may be accurate readings of the future... /snip/
Whatever the nature of the witches’ prophecies, their sheer inscrutability is as important as any reading of their motivations and natures. The witches stand outside the limits of human comprehension. They seem to represent the part of human beings in which ambition and sin originate—an incomprehensible and unconscious part of the human psyche.
