Pinellas Park police Lt. Gabriel Keys (foreground) is arrested by police officers for trespassing in Pinellas Park, Florida, March 23, 2005. The young protester attempted to take a glass of water into the Woodside Hospice for the brain-damaged Terri Schiavo. A federal judge rejected a request from the parents of Schiavo to order her feeding tube reinserted, dealing a blow to attempts by the U.S. Congress and the White House to prolong her life.
Hm, then what is the big deal? Goodness, they are most likely being treated well as can be expected, making a huge statement and this will benefit their character, also.
At that age, no. Letting a child "follow his conscience" can lead to kids getting into all sorts of trouble -- because kids do not have a well-developed conscience until they are much older.

Kids are watching an innocent woman starve to death. They see the evil better than anyone. Their minds aren't cluttered with agendas.
really tight argument you got there.
LOL, no, I'm one of those evil biker guys...the name comes from my army days, but after living under rules and regulations that I sometimes found....um....difficult, I can put myself in their place, and can emphasize with them.
Too many people see kids standing up for what is good and right and call it "exploitation". These people cover their own cowardice with cynicism. They would sit back and critique people for standing tall against evil and injustice while they peer from between their shutters in fear, and doing nothing else. Disgusting, spineless, and enablers of evil- the whole lot of them.
Google "Louis Beam" and "leaderless resistance." And then pray that said leaderless resistance isn't being coordinated through FReepmail.
I agree completely, and I suspect there are cops in the area who are embarassed and have told their chiefs, commanders, and sheriffs "this is nuts!" and "what the hell are we doing here?"
Well, the Right has, in this case, done its best imitation of the Left thus far, why not more?
Conservative Christian homeschooler types from my corner of the world. Sniff. Sniff. This Texan is proud.
Yep, I agree with you. My kids see this more clearly than all the 'grown ups' here.

In some cases, yes, but this is hardly "the front lines." I see common sense evades you as always.
Okay, then subject your children to the indignities of arrest and booking. Or, maybe you think no child should go through that, so you wouldn't put your children in that position. What these parents did was abominable, and is no different than those school teachers who take their classes to anti-war rallies. It's all for a photo op and publicity.
Note the long skirts.
You are included in my last post. Useless.
LOL!
My exact thoughts.
You have reason to be.
What, like 50? Get real. You mean they haven't learned to practice moral cowardice yet.
