Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.

Do you know if Michael has a job, or is he living off his mistress' $?
I saw Terri's brother and father on Hannity and Colmes & Hannity asked the possibility of a wrongful death suit if it comes to that point. Dad said was not focused on that right now, and Bobby said much the same, but didn't sound like they were ruling it out.


This is what I think will happen later one way or another and in a civil suit like this Schiavo would HAVE to undergo vigorous cross exam!

PLEASE don't tell me that this appellate court ruling, as well as the Fed. judge ruling could depend on a "goof" that the Schindler's lawyer made?

Tell me that it is not possible that Terri will die, because the lawyer either forgot or didn't know to approach the hearing different, being a "de novo" thingy...

Another theory about his peculiar insistence that she must die--he doesn't want her to have speech therapy that perhaps would allow her to communicate what happened to her the night she "collapsed." I find the guy sinister. Supposedly her parents were trying to convince Terri to leave Schiavo. Was there a history of verbal or physical abuse? Was she afraid of him?

All of Greer's rulings have been appealed. The other courts just uphold his findings. They seem to have a diabolical determination in this.

Somebody needs to get to Gibbs and tell him to amend his f'ing complaint - NOW. If the idiot had just plead that Terri is not PVS and does not want to die from dehydration in this circumstance whether PVS or not, Whittmore would have been forced to grant the injunction, and would have been quickly reversed if he had not. Instead Gibbs just bitched about Greer and posed flacky constitutional theories, and Whittmore was forced to blow Gibbs out, because none of that was going to fly on its face. Now probably the 11th circuit is struggling to decidee whether to take the extraordinary step, given the extraordinary circumstances, of cleaning up Gibb's mess for him.

I don't think that is likely. Terri will not speak anything more than a word here and there. She is truly in bad neurological shape. But she is not PVS and is not dead and doesn't deserve to be starved. But don't hold your breath waitiing for her to point fingers at MS. Wont happen.

If it can be shown that Michael, Felos, and Greer lied about her condition, wouldn't that in and of itself cause them some grief [to put it very mildly]?

If they really were, they would have asked Jeb last week or 2 weeks ago when they were turned down by greer for a executive order to get her out of there, and asked him to get Crist to file criminal charges.
