Prayer Request - Vanity (sick child)

My son, Henry, was admitted to the ICU a week ago with Strep Pneumonia. He's had a very rough go of things - Saturday was particulalry bad for him. I thought we were going to lose him. He's two years old and has already had open-heart surgery. He's been riding a real roller coaster and has almost no room to get worse.

May God bless your entire family in this difficult time and may He grant your son's doctors wisdom as they do their healing work. I have asked for FReepers' prayers for my son, he has had some very severe health problems. With God's help my son is doing much better and I pray yours will too.

Henry has been stable today. The nurse describes his condition as "critically stable."

Henry is still critical stable - no changes good or bad. The baby next to him died this morning. It was an awful situation. It also brings fear to every parent with a child in the ICU. I would like to thank you all for your prayers, kind wishes and the e-cards Henry got - they have helped.

Some good news - Henry is starting to do a little better. The docotrs are working the settings on his venilator to see how he holds up.
