Continuation of Terri Schiavo daily March threads. Due to overwhelming participation we reached over 5000 posts in three days time!
In Florida the only way it appears you win in court is if you're trying to get money for your wife's rehab.
Due process rights? How about her not being allowed an attorney ad litum?

Not just anyone would have access to the courthouse in the middle of the night either.
Oh, I know, a hacker broke into the courthouse and was using Judge Greer's pc.
I said my faith, not the Bible, and I am not going to get into some kind of nasty fight with everyone.
DON'T YOU THINK FOR A MINUTE THAT THERE IS SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT GOING ON RIGHT NOW?
I have reconsidered and won't shut up, because I care, and because I am an analyzer. And that in no way makes me unspiritual, faithless, giving up on God, not reading my Bible, etc. God can do anything at anytime he chooses. I reconsidered because it dawned on me, they don't know me, so I won't let their cutting remarks stop me from speaking, or force me into someone else's mold.
Greer has no say where Terri is now as it's in federal court. Schiavo is still guardian but the court can act without his input if this judge finds her rights have been violated.
They have STOPPED showing flattering video of Terri moving and tracking an object, and reacting to people!
They RARELY even show pictures of her at all. When they do they show mostly still pictures, and mostly unflattering. They show one with her mom, smiling somewhat, but her eyes are CLOSED!
A viewer could assume she is comatose.
THey do occasionally show a very short video clip of her moving her head back and forth. It seems to be an edited version of her tracking the balloon, BUT it is now such an EXTREME closup, you cannot tell she is reacting to her environment. She just comes off looking spastic!!!!
Shep Smith was absolutely AWFUL. I don't think he had a single person on who said anything good about Terri.
Special Report was a little better, HOWEVER even on that show, some producer is restricting the photos they may show!
Yep, feels surreal. God forbid but if this is allowed to happen and Terri dies as a result, then I'd say the country has taken a step toward the dark side, not the light.

Concerning Greer's possible attendance at the hearing:
You all have to remember, these judges go to the same parties.
Judge Whittermore and Greer might very well be friends.
Not trying to put out bad news, but it's possible.
It really bothers me so much, that Michael and his "family members" can get on a witness stand, tell a tale and get that entered as evidence that she'd want to die...and because one judge (who I honestly feel was paid off someway by someone) decides to believe them, Terri is doomed to death. This is just so wrong! God would protect even the smallest, tiniest creatures, and so I have to believe that he will come through for Terri...I just wish we had this in a judge's hands that thinks like us...and I am not sure if he is.

My first thought was that Hospice didn't mind Terri being moved for the reinsertion of the feeding tube.
But maybe it means moved permanently. Hmmm.
That's what I was thinking.
In fact, last week the Florida legislature stopped a new version of Terri's Law because the Federal Gov, intervened with their own action.
At the very least, someone somewhere should be able to get something moving to get the tube in.
The way Section 2 Procedures is written. The Federal Judge must do something immediately, not waiting. Someone needs to explain it to him.
Has anyone thought about calling the new judge (besides me)?
