Today we met in Fayetteville, NC to Freep a motley rabble of socialists, anarchists, Code Pink-os, and other throwbacks to the 60's! As usual, we were well outnumbered by their hordes of college students, aging hippies and other bused-in protestors, but we held our own as always.
Please post any reports and observations on this thread only.
LOL! Is that vintage Woodstock?
And, as always, you guys and gals in the Old North State Chapter are fabulous hosts.
After I post a few photos, I'll pass the computer over to the Freepers in our "undisclosed location" here in Fayetteville.
Gael Murphy and Medea Benjamin had traveled down to Fayetteville for this "debutante ball" for Code Pink. But, oopsy! They didn't know we brought a MOAB with us!
Boyohboy were Gael and Medea pi$$ed-off when they saw the MOAB and heard our chants. Here's a couple of photos of Gael Murphy as Kristinn really lit into her (verbally) from across the street. I'll let Kristinn recount the story that goes with these photos. Suffice to say, Freepers won the media war with Code Pink(o).
Add me to the ping list. Remove me from the ping list.
Y'all missed a fantastic FReep. The commies had about the same number as they did last year. The vast majority of these were bussed in on four buses. Our turnout was larger than last year.
For me the highlight was when the Code Pink-o lezzies couldn't stand our MOAB anymore and had to come confront us directly. We shouted them down well. There were at least 5-7 LEOs surrounding the traitors as they tried to mock us. They failed. Then they went back across the street, down the hill into the park, climbed up on the stage and announced to their adoring, smelly crowd that our MOAB was a lie. LOL!
Is it just me, or does Gael Murphy bear a striking resemblance to Robert Redford?
Don't laugh. She NEEDS to be bumped!
Hmmm... good question, AQ.
Anybody ever seen GM & RR together? If you have, how did you cope with the stench?
All the Freepers were yelling, "Look at the mangy freak!" And I said, "Wait a minute! I'm with you guys!" Really hurt my feelings.
:-(
OMG...............you're right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tiggles (tgslTakoma) says "Yes. And we really kicked her in the balls today!"
We also had many wonderful folks from Rolling Thunder come out. Unfortunately, they weren't allowed to bring their motorcycles this year.
There were also a few people there independent of any group.
I read the other day that the RT folks weren't going to be allowed the use of their bikes - that bites. But I'm glad to hear some of them still came out in support of the good guys.
Bwha ha ah aha aha ha ahahahhhaha haha aha ....shooting beer out my nose.....you owe me a new keyboard!
The local 24 hr news channel (CH 14) is providing a pretty good report on our counter protest.
OUR thanks go to you and your Marine husband! Please know and let your husband know that you, both, have my deepest gratitude for your service to our great country. I pray for our military each and every day.
Sounds low to me. I block-estimated.
Hello to the Freepers from today. Yes. Gael Murphy does bear a resemblance to Robert Redford.
We did have fun. Dr. Raoul was wonderful with the comments and information that he gave us. I wish others could have heard him.
One thing that I noticed was that I only saw one American flag on the other side that was being carried. The other American flags were on the coffin like boxes that they had representing the war dead. The commie, leftie pinkos don't know what an affront that is to true military people. They don't get it and likely never will.
The infiltrators were fun to catch for the most part. I didn't see the one who was sitting and eating our cookies. I guess it had been a long time since he got to eat. LOL!!!
The infiltrator who was the most upsetting to us was the one who hit Bert. That was totally uncalled for and was not provoked. I don't know if he was arrested or just told to not show his face around that area again.
The lefties also had their fund raiser again this year. I think it was the same as last year's paint an umbrella thing. I don't think they added too much to their funds. It looked like the same number were there and painted at the end as were there at the beginning.
The cops were great! They got really tickled with Dr. Raoul's warnings about the "brown acid". I was told that I had a good set of lungs by the cops which made me laugh as I am a smoker. I can't wait until the next Freep as I can be awesome then, thanks to a gift from Dr. Raoul. It was noted again this year that the cops could stand with their backs to us as they knew we weren't going to cause any trouble. It was Lou Plummer's buddies and partners in disinformation that they had to watch.
I loved the fact that it took soooooo loooonnnnngg for the other side to get their rally underway. The reason was that they all had to go through a security check-point. And they are supposed to be the non-violent ones. HAH!
The turmoil we caused amongst the Pinko Ladies was interesting. They really couldn't stand the MOAB. Those who came up with that, thank you very much. And you know, when I pulled out of the parking lot, I would swear that it was Medea crossing the street in front of me. I could have run over her. Being a nice Freeper, I held myself back.
We all enjoyed a particular new Freeper. She has been a member for a while but this was her first actual event. AQGeiger was terrific. I heard good things said about how she talked to the press persons and the speech she made was very good. Way to go, girl!
A bunch of us went and ate afterwards and had a nice time talking over some of the highlights and just being able to sit down.
I'm sure I'll think of something else as more of us post comments. Thank you all for being here.
Hey, hey
Ho, ho
Uminyomfpotgoobity

Tiggles ripped that bullhorn right out of my hands and bufted my blip. I'm finbing if harb to swabbow.
GREAT FREEP!!! Bring on the photos! Code Pink are TRAITORS, thanks for getting in their face.
The list of FReepers attending is the "A-TEAM". You all make us proud.
