At Admin request new thread!
Link to first thread.
Damn, you beat me to it, and said it better.
Thank the Good Lord for The Empire Journal and for FreeRepublic.com!!!
You sure have that one right. Last time quite a few of us were looking at moving to another.
I am back in that swing again. In a few weeks I am going to Tbilisi and now I think while I am there I will look around for homesteading.
I am really glad to see so many saying things like this.
The Senate Committee that subpoenaed Terri ask the Supreme Court - I think it was only Justice Kennedy because he had as an individual Justice overseeing appeals from that area of the US - to order the feeding tube reinserted pending all the other action to come in the case, and the Court turned them down. Why are we not surprised? Oh, how I wish we had some decent news for you, polly.
Praying for Terri, and only hope the outcome would reflect her wishes.
I can't imagine anyone wishing to be kept alive for so many years to ultimately have their feeding tube removed. Terri has sufferred so much already, if she would choose to die now, there is clearly a better way.
I suspect she has lost any real hope of even the most optimistic of recoveries after being denied rehabiitation for so long. Such a tragedy what she and those around her have been thru.
"------ The US Attorney is an employee of the Justice Department. That means he works for Atty Gen Gonzales - and for George Bush. If he's dragging his feet, either of those gentlemen could order him to get to work."
That's what I don't get. President Bush and Gov. Bush can and must do something!
The Republicans can blame the Dems, like Barbar Boxer, but they are in the majority in the House, the Senate, and they have the Presidency.
Well, the legal "minds" in the article on this thread certainly fit with my thesis in 2429:

Thank you for doing the segment, representing Terri's supporters on the internet.
Powerful photos. Thank you for posting them.
"I have not met one single person yet who agrees with the process that is currently placing Terri Schiavo at mortal risk for the third time. But if I ever do, this is the kind of thing that can make one mistrust that person's opinion on enything ever again. You wonder whether such a person would approve of YOUR starvation death when ill or aged. The corrosive action of such thought, multiplied millions of times, can not help our nation."
You make some excellent points here.
I was hoping to wake up this morning to some good news, but that wasn't the case, unfortunately. Instead, Terri is waking up to the first pangs of hunger.
I've got my bets on Tom Delay that he'll do something to save Terri. Get that HAMMER moving, Tommy!!
Judge Kervorkian Greer - What a great sign. Greer is so WEIRD and EVIL!
Feed Terri - Impeach Greer
I think I'll change my tag line now. THANKS!
It's a chilling conclusion to come to, but an unavoidable one, IMO.
God give us strength for what's ahead.
Should have typed..."because he had {jurisdiction} as an individual Justice overseeing appeals from that area of the US".
