You need to remember that the cops hired to guard Terri are off duty guys paid by Michael or his supporters. Their ears will hear what their paychecks pay they hear.
It is on 6770 102nd Avenue North in Pinellas Park. The nearest intersection is 102nd Avenue and 66th Street North. The Hospice is on 102, just west of the intersection of 102 and 66.
All of her retained rights under Florida's guardianship statutes have been violated. That much is rock solid. As far as her civil rights, I think that discrimination is very apparent. Were it not for her disability, the state would not be seeking her death.
God bless you.
Sorry, Orlando. I was unable to find this earlier; but when I was trying to get some sleep, the title came to me. To my knowledge, this is the only statement from the Vatican on March 18th:
Vatican official fears "direct euthanasia" in Schiavo case

Thank you for those links.
"Ve vere only followink orders..."
Just a general rambling thought from a can't-quit-tossing-and-turning-and-get-some-sleep mind (so forgive me if it doesn't make a lot of sense):
I've been puzzled for a long time--and no more so than today--as to why the executive and legislative branches are letting the judicial branch run away with the power. The thought struck me moments ago that it may be as simple as those branches being filled with attorneys. I've been shocked by lawyers on local TV and even a couple on here who have been supportive of the idea that what the courts say, goes.
I fear we may be at a point that by and large those in the legal profession give it their first allegiance and have been trained into a mindset that a de facto judicial oligarchy is considered right and just and necessary. A new elite, if you will, that truly doesn't trust the people with power.
(I seem to recall that Scalia may have given a speech along these lines, too. I'll have to look for it.)
Last night at Woodside Hospice, the Pinellas Park Police Dept. had completely barracaded the building. There were more police officers and special units than demonstrators. The media camped out on the parking lot across the street from hospice (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, etc).
K-9 units, cops on motorcycles, a huge paddy wagon and cruisers surrounded hospice. Terri has 3 police officers INSIDE her room and several more at the entrance of her door. Plus, the is a police officer stationed at every doorway in hospice.
The cops were circling around us on motocyles as we prayed with Rev. Patrick Mahony. They flashed their headlights on us as the dogs in the k-9 units were barking. It was very surreal and bizarre.
I'll be at hospice from 11:00 am until night today. I hope to see floriduh voter. We keep missing each other.
Woke up at 4 a.m. Can't sleep. Worrying about Terri. Do you think anything will happen today? Judicial tyrrany!!!! Something must be done or none of us are safe. At least with all those law enforcement types milling about at the hospice, no one will actually try to kill Terri outright. They're just doing it - a death by a thousands "cuts". Those monsters! I'll bet that many of those police officers do not want to be there to participate in this murder. Bet you anything!
Thank you for all you are doing. If you find floriduh voter, please please tell her that we love and appreciate her, too.
Last night I was on FOX News local. I was SHOCKED at what a good piece it was. I'm on a hunger strike. They showed the GREAT footage of Terri and her mother. They showed me on the Internet at FreeRepublic.com and said how people are hooked up by Internet coordinating efforts, etc. For what it's worth.
I'm drinking water only. I can't die or get really sick because I have a family to care for. Grandkids, you know.
One of the reasons I gave up on pretending to sleep and came to the computer was that I was hoping to find that one of the Bush brothers had come through with a brilliant move.
In regard to the police officers, if they don't want to be there, they should leave or join the protesters. The time for resistance to tyranny and civil disobedience is now.
You are so very correct.
God bless you for doing a hunger strike and getting press coverage too!
I am torn on doing one. In some ways I think it may be better for most of us to keep our strength up (which, to be consistent, means I should be sleeping) to be able to fight hard for Terri while we support those brave souls who are engaging in hunger strikes to draw attention to her plight.
If the US District Attorney refuses to do his duty in accordance with the express will of the United States Congress to protect a federal witness, then HE TOO is in a state of insurrection against lawful authority.
It seems that all these years while we thought we had a Constitutional system with multiple safeguards built in, the pro-death network was quietly laying plans, and now the time has come for them to strike.
As soon as they succeed (God willing, they won't) in executing an innocent person before the eyes of the world, they believe we will be so intimidated at their legal might that they will have the control they have been salivating for.
The USSC Dred Scott decision was horrible, but even that did not render legal the starvation death of one's slaves.
I have not met one single person yet who agrees with the process that is currently placing Terri Schiavo at mortal risk for the third time. But if I ever do, this is the kind of thing that can make one mistrust that person's opinion on enything ever again. You wonder whether such a person would approve of YOUR starvation death when ill or aged. The corrosive action of such thought, multiplied millions of times, can not help our nation.
May God help Terri to survive from this third murder attempt. I dream that some day after she recovers her voice it may our happy privilege to meet her in person and wonder with awe what grace God had to have given her to endure this suffering.
Still waiting for that miracle . . .
Thank you for your wise comments.
I truly hope President Bush and the other powers that be in Washington and Florida understand the gravity of this constitutional crisis. If Terri dies, IMHO, our Republic dies with her.
God help us.
Me too. All of this happening before Easter brings to mind two events in recent years, one positive and one negative.
Positive: The miraculous discovery of our POWs in Iraq on Easter Sunday.
Negative: The raid on Elian Gonzales' home.
I just keep praying and trying to focus on the positive Easter event that happened under President Bush's watch. God has His hand on this man. I hope to see Solomonic wisdom from him soon.
NO DARN WAY.
If your opponent (assuming Contrary Mary truly is) is not allowed to respond to your propositions, then you are Preaching, not debating.
I say if you believe you are right, then you should face your challengers head high, face on, and proudly.
Time to depart from the CLICK GROUP thing where you excommunicate others for their opinion.
No one has to post to anyone at any time. Some of the posts are just useless to respond to because the flaws in the proposal or argument are so obviously flawed.
You can ignore me, if you want, but to ignore your opponent in any situation, is not a wise move.
