If the US District Attorney refuses to do his duty in accordance with the express will of the United States Congress to protect a federal witness, then HE TOO is in a state of insurrection against lawful authority.
It seems that all these years while we thought we had a Constitutional system with multiple safeguards built in, the pro-death network was quietly laying plans, and now the time has come for them to strike.
As soon as they succeed (God willing, they won't) in executing an innocent person before the eyes of the world, they believe we will be so intimidated at their legal might that they will have the control they have been salivating for.
The USSC Dred Scott decision was horrible, but even that did not render legal the starvation death of one's slaves.
I have not met one single person yet who agrees with the process that is currently placing Terri Schiavo at mortal risk for the third time. But if I ever do, this is the kind of thing that can make one mistrust that person's opinion on enything ever again. You wonder whether such a person would approve of YOUR starvation death when ill or aged. The corrosive action of such thought, multiplied millions of times, can not help our nation.
May God help Terri to survive from this third murder attempt. I dream that some day after she recovers her voice it may our happy privilege to meet her in person and wonder with awe what grace God had to have given her to endure this suffering.
Thank you for your wise comments.
I truly hope President Bush and the other powers that be in Washington and Florida understand the gravity of this constitutional crisis. If Terri dies, IMHO, our Republic dies with her.
God help us.

You make some excellent points here.
Yes, it was either Weldon or Santorum who last night said the US Attorney is either unwilling or is refusing to enforce the wish of Congress.
This is not good!
