Haven't participated in Terri threads for a while but my prayers have continued. I was in Florida two weeks ago and stopped by the hospice to pray alone. I left there with a strong and determined victory in my spirit (you prayer warriors and intercessors can relate). I have no doubt that God will have His way and I believe that Terri will be delivered.
She does have the papers in her hands, which convey her wishes. Her Baptism papers, her confirmation papers and her Marriage Cerificate. All of these papers publically convey her wishes to be a part of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church which condemns suicide, euthanasia, and removal of feeding tubes.
Terri's wishes to be a part of this church were witnessed by many witnesses. She never renounced her membership.
This is implied consent to the teachings of that church.
The State does not have the right to force Terri to do anything against her declared religious beliefs.

Vel, I just got back from taking my oldest daughter to the dentist. My son called us while we were gone and told us Terri's feeding tube had been removed.
My small group meets tonight and we will all be on our knees.

In my heart of hearts I do not belive this is over...but I have to wonder why Delay and Bush have not given us the decency of a remark.

I am having a hard time listening to Michaels Schiavo's lawyer right now. When my son called me to tell me Terri's tube had been removed, I felt the same peace. Please Lord, show us your glory in this now.

The politicians have elevated themselves, along with their branch we call the judiciary, far above the citizenry.
I'm listening to this guy and all I can think is "Invasion of the body snatchers".
How can anyone who considers himself human scold people for taking extraordinary steps to save a woman's life? I think he's making a very big mistake. He would have done his case much better by being humble, saying he understands people's concerns, but the law has spoken. (Not that I would agree with him.)
But I can't imagine what he hoped to gain with this tirade against Congress. I think he may have just "breathed life" back into our chances to save her.
This b@stard should be allowed to talk as long as he will. He makes what's going on very obvious.
He puts me more in mind of the aliens in "V"-cold-blooded reptiles who only look human on the outside...
