Thank you.
I have one more week until the moving truck pulls up in front of my rented 850 sg ft crackerbox and hauls my stuff to the 3000 sg ft Texas home I bought on Sunday.
Best of luck. Say hi to the steers. ;)
I see that you have found yours. And Texas, too. Good choice.

Good for you! Now don't get shot between now and then. ;)
I lived in the San Diego area in the 80's. It's was nuts back then, so I can only imagine what it's like today.
My Uncle lives about 2 hours outside of LA and commutes 4 hours a day. I don't know how he stands it, but he's a film guy for Hollywierd, so he's used to abuse.
But...what happens if everyone on the coast smartens up and moves inland? Ach. It's not my problem. I'll either be dead by then, or the Second Coming will have happened and all of our worries will be over, LOL!
Enjoy Texas, LTowm.
You are certainly welcome here.
Just don't bring any liberals with you. :-)
Welcome to Texas!
"Welcome to Texas. Here's your horse and your gun."
Welcome home neighbor

And I bet you paid a tenth of the cost! When we move to Washington I got double the house for half the money. We were never so glad to leave California, not that Washington is any better any more. The politics here are similar to Calif... very liberal!
Congratulations on your pending move!
Nothing like voting with your feet.
Personally, the wife unit and I are discussing getting out of Pennsylvania before it catches the liberal scumbag virus from Jersey and goes over to the socialist Democrat side. I fear it's in the air.
The Marco Island/Naples/Fort Myers area of Florida has a nice ring to it. Been there, and it is sweet. And cheap, compared to Pennsylvania. Not to mention tax advantages.
Welcome, and enjoy (while you can.)
Please don't let any "guest workers" follow you here.
Congratulations!!!
We hope to leave someday, but right now I have it too sweet.
