Sounds like the FLorida legislature should also act to deny the authority of Pinellas to pay police officers.
That would divert the cops from the Schiavo issue to their own "feeding tubes"!

Today on the Rush Limbaugh Radio Program, Rush talked about
"Sanctuary Cities" in America for illegal aliens seeking sanctuary.
If our country is so concerned about those escaping brutal despotic tyranny, shouldn't we be also concerned for a defenseless disabled woman escaping the barbaric death order her evil adulterous husband has lawyered his way into imposing on his wife?
Is it possible for a City Mayor somewhere in Florida to establish a Sanctuary City for the Disabled?

this might be a stupid question. If they remove the feeding tube, can she survive? I know that is how she intakes food and water, but can she swallow food on her own? Wouldn't it be a miracle if she lived on her own after they pull the feeding tube? Or is that just ridiculous to think.

Supporters like the Rev. Patrick Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition say they expect people to try to enter the Woodside Hospice to rescue Terri Schiavo if her feeding tube is removed. Bless them. Surely there ate few hundred men in the Tampa area with a pair and a spine, that will show up to support what Mahoney is cooking up.

The Pinellas Park Police has officers stationed in the parking lot and inside the front doors of the hospice in case those threats are attempted.
Florida FReepers, do you need muscle? I can wangle some vacation time if need be. (As an added bonus, it's been my experience that chivalrous Southern men, policemen or no, hesitate to lay rough hands on a sweet-talking eyelash-fluttering blonde woman, no matter how large.)

The Florida Legislature is now working on a bill that Governor Bush says he will sign into law that would prevent the removal of Terri Schiavos feeding tube. The bill should be on the floor for debate by mid- Friday. Considering that I have rad that her tubes are to be pulled at 1pm Friday, isn't mid Friday a little late for getting it to the floor for debate?

I never want to see another arrest for murder ever again if they kill Terri.
Florida will have lost all moral authority to prosecute and arrest murderers.

This subject may have been mentioned and I missed it but--
Does any one know if Terri is able to swallow her own saliva or does she require frequent oral suctioning?
IF she is able to swallow her saliva then she CAN swallow.

The Pinellas Park Police has officers stationed in the parking lot and inside the front doors of the hospice in case those threats are attempted.(1) Governor Jeb Bush can, at any time, on legal authority as executive, order the Pinellas Park Police to prevent any removal of Schiavo's feeding tube. If Bush fails to do this, he should be removed from office.
The Florida Legislature is now working on a bill that Governor Bush says he will sign into law that would prevent the removal of Terri Schiavos feeding tube. The bill should be on the floor for debate by mid- Friday.
(2) If a judge "overturns" that law, and the Governor rejects the ruling, and the Legislature backs him up, then that is the FINAL say. All Americans need to remember that THE JUDICIARY IS NOT THE LAST WORD in our tri-partite system of government.
