Prayers needed for Onyx and her husband
Posted on 03/14/2005 1:02:01 AM PST by Trinity_Tx
Onyx's husband fell thru a glass door and severed an artery in his arm this morning. He almost bled to death while waiting for 911 to come, but they made it.
They've been at the hospital since noon, with him in and out of surgery. They are back in surgery now, with 3 surgeons trying to repair a lot of torn and severed veins and archeries. He's lost a lot of blood, they've given him 6 pints so far.
It's very complicated, but those are the basics.

Prayers for Him and Onyx.
Heavenly Father, I pray that you would cause the doctors and surgeons to perform above and beyond their normal skill levels, that they will be alert to notice any small thing that would make a difference, and for total and complete healing of all veins, arteries, muscle and tissue. I also ask for your peace and comfort to all family members. Wrap them in Your loving arms and reassure them that you are in control.
I ask this with faith believing, in Jesus name. Amen.

Good news! Thank God for your husband's miraculous healing and recovery! Thank God you were there when he fell so that you could stop the blood flow, call 911 and keep him alive. Thank God for the good doctors and medical staff in charge of his care, too.
Thank you for the good news update, Onyx. Please now take care of yourself, Onyx, go for a walk, swim or workout to help relieve some of the stress, then get some regular sleep.
My prayers continue for your husband's complete recovery!

It must have been a horrible experience for you to still have such vivid memories. I'm sorry that they couldn't have given you pain relief, although that might have made things a lot worse.
Thank God Onyx's husband is well on his way on the road to recovery!

Absolutely wonderful news! I'm so glad he's recovering well.
As a paramedic, I had much more of a visual of that scene than I would have liked.
I'm thrilled with his recovery.
Prayers will continue.
