Rice pointedly declined to rule out running for president in 2008 on Friday during an hour-long interview with reporters at WASHINGTON TIMES, top sources tell DRUDGE. Rice gave her most detailed explanation of a 'mildly pro-choice' stance on abortion, she would not want the government 'forcing its views' on abortion... She explained that she is libertarian on the issue, adding: 'I have been concerned about a government role'... Developing late Friday for Saturday cycles... MORE...
*Perfect* answer. : )
You're funny, EV. When I asked you a point blank question about YOUR mother; you weren't willing to say she would have been a murderer if she aborted her child, but yet you're willing to condemn other women who might.
Those big monsters are mighty tastey too!
I love venison.
I know the deer are rats.
But, who can hate a fawn?
Truly lovely.
"So, for instance, I've tended to agree with those who do not favor federal funding for abortion, because I believe that those who hold a strong moral view on the other side should not be forced to fund it."
~Condi Rice as quoted in the article linked at the beginning of this thread.
I have to tell you, for every pro life man, when asked about the life of the mother, very few of them will change their minds. Unless it's their mother or wife. For every pro life mother, nearly every single one I know will will make that exception. I think the sex of the debator is extremely relevant.
First ladies Laura and Barbara Bush are on record as pro-choice to a greater or lesser degree.
Thanks. Had the daughter had an amnio previous to this?
Probably not nut I remember lost of folks saying that the American people would never elect Bill Clinton to a second term and Hillary had no shot at the senate in NY.
Crap happens.
I'm not sure what you meant about a pro life mother who wanted to give her baby every chance at life. Ectopic pregnancies have NO chance at life. None. You know that, don't you?
Anyone who advocates or excuses murder is just as bad as Democrats, liberals, fascists, and all other manner of low life forms.
Republicans don't get a pass, no one does. Yawn
And look at Ross Perot's popularity.
But you left out the rest of the crap. I know where Condi stands. She's pro choice but her mentor has her moving toward the right on abortion. I was born on Friday the 13th, but not last Friday the 13th.
And many of us are damned tired of liberals like you attacking conservatives incessantly. It's been five years now I've watched you do it.
And yes, you're a liberal. Who do you think you're fooling?
Not enough data points to make these kinds of generalizations. The problem though is that those who have not run the gauntlet of campaigns tend to make serious errors. If Condi can avoid such errors as a "rookie," and show reach and depth on domestic issues, and is articulate, she is in the hunt. If, lots of ifs, probably too many. Her abortion comments in my view were not particular skillful.
So Republicans who believe in the three exception rule, like the president and nearly every Republican I know, are now as bad as the fascists. Good to know.
Dont you go and bet the farm on that.
