My fellow Americans, thank you for your kind words and prayers as I am about to again undergo surgery. Because God has given me a second chance, I must clear my conscience.

I am so sorry that I disappointed many of my fans. But more than that, I am sorry for the things I did to women.

Paula Jones, I am sorry. I did do what you said I did.

Juanita Broaddrick, I am sorry. I did do what you said I did.

Kathleen Willey, I am sorry. I did do what you said I did.

Linda Tripp, I am sorry. We were trying to set you up to take a fall. You were right to tape record conversations to protect yourself.

Monica, I am sorry. I should have never taken advantage of you as I did, but I am weak.

Dr. Lewinsky, I am sorry that your name is now associated with a sexual act. What I did with your daughter was unforgivable, but I ask for forgiveness.

I am sorry that I allowed the transfer of missile technology to the Chinese communists. I needed the money for my campaign, and it didn't matter from where it came.

To all the others, I am sorry I committed perjury, obstructed justice, produced false affidavits, threatened witnesses, and tried to subvert the legal system.

Hillary and Chelsea, I am sorry I publicly humiliated you. Sometimes I just couldn't help myself. I have no self control. Hillary, what you want to do to this country cannot happen. Please resign from the Senate and do work to help people. All the criminal activity has to end now, and you need to make restitution. There are many others who are owed an apology. I wanted power so badly and wanted to hold onto it so badly, that I just could not tell the truth.

With a clear conscience, I prepare to go into surgery without fear. A great weight has been lifted, and I do not fear my mortality. God bless America.

Okay, y'all are never going to believe this, but as I was watching the announcement of this on Fox News, all I could think was, "Gosh, I hope he's okay."

I did lose my mom to heart failure last fall. She was in treatment the previous March with other serious health problems when CHF developed. The wonderful nurses looking after her got her accepted into a new CHF clinic run by Dr.Carhart at University Hospital in Syracuse. Mom was literally dying one minute, and sitting up and eating lunch and putting on her makeup an hour later. It was incredible and felt like a miracle to us! He uses a hormone that is given intravenously once a week and this gave my mom and us 6 months extra of a very good life quality. I cannot thank Dr. Carhart and the nurses at University Hospital enough.

Long airplane rides can cause blood clots.

I believe long term sitting caused by long airplane rides caused it. The plane he rides are luxury and allow for movement which is the problem when clotting occurs (lack of movement).

As others have said, much as I dislike the man and what he did, I don't want to see him skate out of life like this. I still hope he gets well, gets indicted for his crimes in office and does some jail time.

Not doubting you at all, but that sounds like a fast track to a fatal infection. Is that the best they can do?

If a pleural effusion is large enough...a thoracentisis is medically warranted. Of course anytime you breech the skin...you are at risk for infection. But it's low.

Thanks for the ping and the thread. I only wish real physical harm and serious illness on terrorists, and although I disagreed with the lions share of Clinton's decisions and despised the way he sullied the office of the POTUS, I don't consider him in that definition. I hope he recovers.
