It's the other klintoon that needs surgery. The beast needs her cloven hooves refiled, her tail trimmed, her horns need to be "hornicured" her fangs need trimmed and capped... and the broom needs a tune up. Other than that, she is preying to gaya that the male in the family assumes room temperature... the oprah-induced sympathy vote would be overwhelming. Pray for bj's recovery.

When I saw him and and former pres Bush working side by side I had a weird sorta respect for him. It coulda been a clever ploy to get Hilliary the vote in 08. Anyway I wish him well and will pray for him.

FNC, CNN. It's true.

He's going to have scar tissue removed. I just don't know why they are waiting.

BILL CLINTON BACK TO HOSPITAL IN NEW OPERATION
Tue Mar 08 2005 11:11:18 ET

Statement from the Office of President Bill Clinton

Former President Bill Clinton will be undergoing a medical procedure this week to remove fluid and scar tissue from his left chest cavity. The procedure, which is a recognized, occasional consequence of open-heart surgery, will take place Thursday at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and he will remain in the hospital for three to ten days.

The procedure is known as a decortication, and will require general anesthesia. The scar tissue developed as a result of fluid and inflammation causing compression and collapse of the lower lobe of the left lung. The surgery will be done either through a small incision or with a video-assisted thoracoscope inserted between ribs. The fluid buildup and lung collapse has caused the President some discomfort in recent weeks, but he has otherwise been in very good condition, recently passed a stress test and is walking up to four miles a day near his home in Chappaqua, NY.

The risk of the procedure is low, and once fully recovered, President Clinton is expected to resume his work without limitations.

Developing...

He did too much too soon after surgery.

Yep. It has nothing to do with "sleeping on the floor." That does not cause complications from heart surgery. Has anybody ever had their doctor tell them, after surgery: "do not lift anything over 5 pounds and do not, under any circumstances, sleep on the floor!"

Remember those three side trips he took when he was in Asia? To Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea? Maybe Hong Kong was in there, too? That's not close to the tsunami victims, and it was pressure on top of an already difficult trip. Just to do more book signings at $900 a pop per book. That wasn't very smart of him, especially when he already wasn't looking so hot.

"....every believing freeper better be on their knees for him!"

Ok, ok, how's this? Prayers for the charred husk masquerading as a soul within Bill Clinton. May he recover enough to realize and reflect on the pain and misery that he has spread throughout his entire amoral existence, and delay his descent into the eternal fires of hell for as long as possible.

41 and Clinton are eating with 43 this very day; I presume it's to report on their trip.

...i want him alive to make Hill's life hell on earth for as long as possible. imagine her a grieving widow

You don't think Hillary would have made him any Ukrainian soup? I'd question the timing....(smirk)

I honestly DON'T wish either of them dead, I only pray for God's judgment, quickly....

I have noticed that also. The DUers were filled with hate when Reagan died. (And they consider our good wishes merely fundie self-rightousness)

Not withstanding that, prayers for Clinton. He is precious in God's sight. He may not have earned our respect in many situations, but merely as president he merits it.

I'm sure Hillary is praying too. The sad thing is, I don't think she knows the God she may be praying to.

Whose idea was it to send a one-bed plane to the other side of the world with two US X-Presidents on it anyway?

Glad to see your posting, many of us feel the same, but find it awfully hard to put aside our politics and wish the best for the man, a fellow American and human being.

Won't be long before some idiot at the DU decides it's because the senior Bush forced him to sleep on the floor.

Believe it or not it was one of their first posts. Pathetic.
