Home heating oil is essentially the same diesel oil run in cars and trucks. The taxation scheme on the product is different. The oil for one of the markets is dyed to distinguish it. The aim is to prevent truckers from evading the tax by using home heating oil.

Identity theft in the service of the global jihad
When last we discussed this issue, it was to call attention to the posting of personal information, user IDs, passwords, etc. on the Islamist almjlah.net site (currently offline).
The question arises: how do these terrorists get their hands on people's personal info?
The answer is: as a rule, *not* from the servers of financial companies, though that does happen from time to time.
More often the information is stolen by getting the victim to log in to a fake financial services site, with the resulting compromise of the victim's and username and password and the installation of keylogging software to enable the 'harvesting' of yet more account information from the victim's computer.
A security officer in the financial services industry, speaking on condition of anonymity, estimates that a crew of jihadis could make as much a one million dollars U.S. per month on such scams. That's a whole lot of the Great Satan's greenbacks.
How widespread is this problem? That's not entirely clear. But as seen at almjlah.net, we know that jihadis are involved in identity theft. And what about the use of keylogging software? The following screen shot turned up in a file dumping site used by jihadis. It is part of a set of instructions on how to set up keylogging software:
And look where you are supposed to upload the logged keystrokes:

nnuu.org: warning posted for Iraq-bound terrorists
The thread:

Analysis, care of Jamestown Terrorism Monitor:
On March 10, the website administrator for the online forum, www.nnuu.org, flagged up important instructions for mujahideen transiting the country on their way to Iraq. He warned them how the Syrian regime is "up to its ears in its work for the Americans" and has set up checkpoints on roads to Iraq in the Qameshli and Deir ez-Zor zones, arresting anyone not from the area; orders, he explains have also been distributed to hotel owners near the frontier to declare the presence of any Arab guest. A subsequent commentary to this posting advises mujahideen "not to display a beard or wear a long thawb, to avoid praying in mosques or go to border zones without a guide in order to avoid the checkpoints." He counsels recruits "not to stay long in Syria and to follow instructions to the letter," observing that most youths are arrested due to over enthusiasm. He went on to note that those unfortunate enough to be arrested will be transferred to the Mukhabarat, or Syrian Intelligence, and while those from Jordan or the Arabian Peninsula will likely not be incarcerated for more than a month, others, such as North Africans, maybe incarcerated for up to ten months before being sent home.

"Lebanon Shopping Center Blast Injures 7"
Fri Apr 1,11:06 PM ET
By SAM F. GHATTAS, Associated Press Writer
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "BEIRUT, Lebanon - A bomb tore through a shopping and residential center in the Christian heartland northeast of Beirut late Friday, injuring seven people, including an American, police and witnesses said.
The explosion in the resort town of Broummana the fourth against an anti-Syrian target in the past two weeks sparked a fire, shattered glass in several buildings, blew out store shutters and smashed several cars.
Lebanon has been in turmoil since the Feb. 14 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, which the opposition blamed on Syria and its Lebanese allies. It set off massive anti-Syrian demonstrations and demands that Damascus withdraw its army from Lebanon."

"Europe's Boys of Jihad"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Teenage jihadis. From the LA Times, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
PARIS The case file of the French homeboys who joined the Iraqi jihad contains a startling photo.
It's the mug shot of Salah, the alleged point man in Damascus, Syria, who authorities say arranged for guns and safe passage into Iraq for extremists from Paris. Salah has a serious expression beneath a short Afro-style haircut. He looks as if he's posing, reluctantly, for a middle school yearbook.
When Salah left for Damascus with the jihadis last summer, he was 13 years old....
"Iraq is the motor," said a senior French anti-terrorism official, who asked to remain anonymous for security reasons. "It's making them all go crazy, want to be shaheed [martyrs]. The danger of suicide attacks in Europe and the United States increases as you have younger guys who are fervent and easily manipulated.""
