Terri's Freepers,
Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

Yes, I did talk to his office, and basically all she told me was that " well maamm, in 2003 he did vote for the bill!!" I said, " and what about now?"....she was somewhat evasive, sadly.

Here it is again. It was also in captions to photos. They're not listening, are they? I gave media people here some handouts of responsive Terri, and they heard her dad say she was responsive, but not a word about it on the news. They have their story, and that's it. This is so ridiculous.

Just called, she can't answer yes or no as to whether he supports it or not. I said I think that we deserve to know, he's the Sen Pres and it doesn't matter that he's not "my" senator. He's in charge.
She said he's always come down on the side of pro-life so certainly he would do the same with this bill.
I told her they need to read articles at TEJ, she said she personally didn't think gov't ought to be involved in family decisions.
I said "THEY ALREADY ARE" (didn't shout but with emphasis) when the court will authorize someone to be starved.
Where is the check and balance against the judiciary? A judge can order DCF around? LaBelle was stopped by MS when he was trying to complete his state authorized power to investigate?

Terri Schiavo's Parents Look to Florida Legislature to Save Their Daughter

Tallahassee, FL (LifeNews.com) -- Terri Schiavo's parents are running out of legal options. Last week, Judge George Greer overturned more than 10 motions designed to prevent their daughter from being starved to death. Now they're looking to the Florida legislature to save her.
Bob and Mary Schindler, along with dozens of pro-life advocates, lobbied state lawmakers on Sunday to pass legislation that would protect Terri and other disabled people like her.
The Florida legislature is considering a measure that would require courts and doctors to assume that disabled patients who are unable to make their own medical decisions would not want to be deprived of food and water.
Unless a patient had issued an advance directive stating otherwise, patients like Terri would be protected from becoming victims of euthanasia.
If approved, this would be the second time the Florida legislature has tried to save her life. A previous bill authorizing Florida Governor Jeb Bush to ask doctors to reinsert Terri's feeding tube was overturned by the Florida Supreme Court as a violation of the separation of powers.
"As Yogi Berra says, we're having deja vu all over again with what's happening to Terri," her father told the crowd.
Last week, the House Health Care Regulation Committee approved the measure. It has to go before the House Judiciary Committee today and a third committee before it can receive a vote on the House floor.
Members of the Senate are considering similar legislation.
David Gibbs, the attorney for the Schindlers, told the Sun Sentinel newspaper that, "If it comes through in its present form, we believe it could save Terri's life."
Rep. Dennis Baxley, a Republican who is the lead sponsor of the measure, said he would make sure that it applied to Terri's situation. He also promised to do everything he could to get it passed soon.
"If I have my way, we'll get it passed by the 18th (of March)," he said. That's the date on which Michael is allowed to remove Terri's gastric tube and begin a painful week-long starvation process.
Governor Jeb Bush supports the legislation and has met with Rep. Baxley to work on lobbying legislators to support it.
Meanwhile, Congress is considering a bill that could also protect Terri's life by allowing them to take their lawsuit to federal courts. A federal court, if it agreed to take their case, could issued a stay preventing Terri's death while it looks into the lawsuit.
Leaders of various pro-life groups will join the Schindlers this week in lobbying key lawmakers.

Terri jokes with us and "is learning to say I love you". Who is the speech therapist? Answer; there isn't any! Because it's not true. The parents are a PR nightmare. Tell the story like it should be told. We have a human being, who according to whom you wish to believe, is brain dead or not brain dead; can be rehabilitated or can't be rehabilitates. Tell the story of a human being that is not dying but the legal system seems fit make that human die.. for no concrete reason.
Stop slinging the crap about '5 teeth being pulled' and 'she is learning to say I love you'. Don't pretend to be at her side constantly, when in reality it's only when the press shows up (as a result of being called). If Mr. Robinson(?) wants to 'ban' me from his website that is his right of ownership. We 'all' are expressing facts, opinions and views here. Joining a mob is far easier than resisting and justifying it.
Also, the salem radio network at the top of the hour does about a two minute blurb on the current news. The put on a voice-clip of Mrs Schindler saying they are teaching Terri to speak "I love you".
Terri's mom says that Terri is clearly saying the word "I", but the rest still unintelligible. Terri is CLEARLY is TRYING to speak that phrase!

Of course there is no speech therapist. Michael stopped all that. Why don't you answer my question. Why do you believe the nurses lied about Terri being able to say some words?

U.S. Congress considers new law for Terri Schiavo

WASHINGTON -- A group of House and Senate Republicans are working hard to approve a new law as soon as possible that would provide one last shot at federal court review for Terri Schiavo, a brain-damaged Florida woman whose food and water will be stopped Friday by state court order.
"We're fighting a clock," said Sen. Mel Martinez, who introduced the legislation last week, along with fellow Florida Republican Rep. Dave Weldon.
Under the bill, Mrs. Schiavo -- who is incapacitated and has been the center of a bitter legal battle for years between her husband and her parents -- would be granted a chance at federal habeas corpus review, typically only used to review death-row cases before an execution.
The bill would allow federal courts -- in limited cases such as Mrs. Schiavo's -- to expand habeas corpus review to incapacitated people who are the subject of a family dispute, have no previous written directive and are the subject of a lower court order to stop their food and water.
Mrs. Schiavo suffered cardiac arrest and brain damage in 1990, rendering her incapacitated. Since then, her husband, Michael, has been trying to have her feeding tube removed, arguing that his wife would not want to live in a vegetative state. A state court ruled late last month that he can do so on Friday.
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, Tennessee Republican, wants to move the bill "as quickly as we can." He plans to try to bring it up for consideration on the Senate floor this week, skipping the committee process.
In the House, supporters are pushing for quick action as well.
But, House Judiciary Committee Chairman F. James Sensenbrenner Jr., Wisconsin Republican, has scheduled a hearing on the bill for Wednesday, indicating that, at least for now, he wants to follow normal procedure.
The long legal battle over Mrs. Schiavo's future has resulted in differing state court rulings. In 2003, her feeding tube was removed under a ruling by Florida Circuit Court Judge George Greer, but reinserted six days later after the Florida legislature passed emergency legislation called "Terri's Law" that granted Gov. Jeb Bush the right to intervene. The Florida Supreme Court has since declared the law unconstitutional, and the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case.
Late last month, Judge Greer again ruled that Mr. Schiavo can remove his wife's feeding tube, ceasing food and water starting Friday.
But Washington lawmakers are still hoping their effort works.
"Our Constitution guarantees that no life will be taken without due process of law and guarantees equal protection under the law," Mr. Weldon said. "We need to make sure that these protections are clearly available to the disabled and incapacitated."
Mr. Martinez acknowledges that it will be tough to pass a bill in one week, especially as a newly elected senator. A spokesman for Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said he hasn't taken a position on the bill yet, but said it clearly should go through the normal committee process.
