This Academy Awards is so boring! and now they pass over The Passion in Cinematography to be PC and giving it to the Aviator, a sorry bunch of fools!

Maybe they didn't want the stench of bad publicity.
Explains why Chris Rock took a potshot at Nicole Kidman in the opening sequence.
By the way, Halle Berry is from our area and everyone hates her. They never did before she made up that whole racist BS about her high school in Bedford Heights. It was all a lie. She also dated a corrupt politician who was nailed for shaking down Arabs grocers for cash donations in his district. Is name is Jeffrey Johnson and she came and campaigned for him - right before he got nailed and sent to the slammer. She never comes to Ohio any more because people know what she's all about.

On Bush, Rock talked about how you have to hand it to Bush, reapplying for a job when there's a movie in every theater about how bad a job he's doing. For instance, he took office with a budget surplus, and now there's a $70 trillion deficit. Now, imagine you work at the Gap, and at the end of the day, your till is $70 trillion short. Are you keepin' your job? Or let's say you work at the Gap, and you start a war with Banana Republic. You say they have toxic tank tops. After 1,000 clerks are dead, you find out they never made tank tops. And you get to keep your job?
That's basically it, summarized from memory. Not funny, and wildly inappropriate. I could open my window here in Dallas and hear TVs being switched off as far away as Idaho.

Depp as Wonka. Bizarre.
Creepy! It's enough to make Gene Wilder spin in his grave, and Gene Wilder isn't even dead.
At least Michael Jackson didn't get the part.

Suprised to see "adoring" fans? They can turn on a dime. Very fickle, but useful to the industry.
Thanks for being there and standing up for what's right.

Judging from that pic, that cast is the least of her problems.

Now you've got me curious; I'm going to have to keep watching to see if they even mention his name.

Did you see The Aviator? That was one great looking film. Its camerawork was very much deserving.

The show must go on! Melanie in a cast.. Is she up for an award or is a presenter? If not she's probably hoping to be noticed by a producer.
To: wolficatZ
Of course they have to snub "The Passion"
But I tell you - MILLION DOLLAR BABY was great!!!!
Saw it today - Medved, what the h*ll is your problem?
