Haven't turned it on and won't. No way. A bunch of under-educated, over paid actors, who used to represent glamor and excitement on this night of awards are now, to me, nothing but a vacuous group of 'I wanna be included so I'll bash the President' jerks.
Meryl Streep turned me off so much with her pompous political blather a few years back that I decided not to put myself thru it anymore.
So why am I so addicted to this thread? I dunno-it is like getting a pre-screened version, where sanity and humor keep me howling with glee! I'm hooked. And can't keep up with the posts-they are flying!

Fox News is showing a documentary about a company of brave marines, true heroes in the Battle for Fallujah. instead of watching that, how many people are watching the oscar crap.
robin williams, chris rock, michael moore don't deserve to kiss the boots of these young heroic marines
