Environmental attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. presents a lecture titled "Environment, Health and Democracy" at 7 p.m. March 3 in the Wheeler Hall Auditorium at University of California, Berkeley.
The event is free and open to the public, although tickets are required.
The free tickets can be obtained in advance at Zellerbach Hall and, pending availability, will also be available at the door.
Kennedy, senior attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council and the author of several books, is delivering the seventh annual Rhoda Goldman Distinguished Lecture in Health Policy.
Yippee. Free lecture. Only costs $20,000 a year.
The whole event sounds like one big mental prostate exam!
I'll take a pass on this one.
It's free because they couldn't get anyone to pay to listen to him.
Singin' to the choir-----
A visual I just did NOT need.
Is this the one that jumped his kids' babysitter? I can't keep them straight.
Environment, health and democracy...pretty packing for "you will be assimilated - resistance is futile" The only thing he knows how to do is sue farmers out of business.
this is the guy always on Hannity and Colmes that sounds like he has a frog in his throat all the time.....a liberal tree hugger to the extreme.....better than his woman molesting kin
I hear ya.
I gave up trying to keep track of the Kennedy affairs a long time ago.
How ya doin', Marty?
RFK, Jr. is the shaky-voiced dweeb that sometimes appears on Hannity and Colmes. He's all for the environment, except when it comes to building wind farms off the coast of Hyannisport, where it would wreck the view.
Let me guess, he POLLUTED the skies on the way there in his private JET!?
He really CARES about the environment!!!
Just what is up with that voice, anyhow?
One too many hits off the crack pipe?
The way Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has assumed command of the Water Keeper Alliance, youd almost think he started the environmental movement on his own. But he actually stumbled into it as a result of a 1984 criminal conviction for heroin possession. A judge sentenced him to 800 hours of community service, which he satisfied with volunteer work for the Hudson River Foundation. After his 800 hours were used up, the organization (now operating as the Hudson River keepers) hired Kennedy as its chief prosecuting attorney. (see the rest of this at activistcash.com)
The shaky voice seems to fit the pattern of drug abuse. What I want to know is how does an attorney survive a heroin possession felony without enjoying disbarment? The answer reminds me a great plaque I saw in a small store out west -
Rules of this Organization:
I guess there is a slight variation of this rule for Kennedy's but it functions in the same manner.
RFK Jr. Was last in Atlanta about a year ago - he took a lot of time to blast the bush Administration on the environment while sucking up the adoration of Atlanta's Democratic power elite. Never mind that Atlanta - entirely within control of the Democratic party had spent about 12 years dumping untreated sewerage into the Chattahoochee. Mayor Bill Campbell kicked the can down the road for 8 years while the Clinton administration looked the other way.
O/T, what is wrong with his voice?
Where the Sam Hill you been, Youngblood??
You name it, my FRiend. I'll have to drop you a line.
