Keep up the good work Sean!
If you're taking flak, you're over the target!
Bombs away!
Well said.
YES!!!!!!!!!!
DITTO!!!!!!!! Thanks Jim!!!
Ditto... Sean is outstanding!
Sean - You are a putz. But, let not your heart be troubled.
Amen, FRiend! And it was wonderful to meet you today at CPAC. :-)
We've got a full slate of the Vast-Rightwing-Conspiracy on the radio at work and Sean's show is part of the day as is Rush and Tony Snow. Lucky for us all of them are on "Live" and for their entirety as well...
Bottom line...I enjoy listening to Sean's program and had the chance to see him at a local book signing a couple years back and I find him to be very knowledgable, entertaining, and honest. There's been few days since the '00 elections that I've missed the radio line-up at work or H&C on FoxNews.....there's also been very few days since then that I haven't been here on FreeRepublic either, the wealth of information here is staggering!! I'm positive that there are more than a few radioshow hosts that come here for their "show prep"...alot of what I see written here or linked here come up on the airwaves throughout the day!
Mr. Jim Robinson, I agree with your first post to Sean..."We Love You Buddy. You're a great American" but I also throw that compliment your way....what you've done here with this site is truly amazing!!!!!
Thanks for the ping to post 337, kphockey2. ;-)
Yes.
Your eloquence of your posting makes me wonder if you have ever authored a book??? ;)
"Nobody wants to be abused like this. Especially someone who has been for FreeRepublic early on."
I seemed to have signed on to FreeRepublic 10 days before you, and I agree with your above statement. This debate reminds me of the Christian saying that "We Shoot Our Wounded". As conservatives, we sometimes get in a circle and shoot each other.
As I listened to Sean today talking about how he was hurt by some of the posting on FreeRepublic I thought that the Democrats would be very happy to think they are dividing us.
I read FreeRepublic everyday, but I miss some of the first posters. They were very analytical and I couldn't wait to read their ideas about current events. They were so knowledgeable that I was afraid to sign up on this site for months and really afraid to post after that.
FreeRepublic and Jim Robinson have much to be proud of since much has been accomplished. There is just no other place like it.
By the way, I love the Great Doctor Levin. I remember you from way back when you were the "secret" legal advisor for Rush. Well, you are secret no more. :-)
When a FRiend (little did we know he's dissed us privately for 2 yrs) does what The Sean did to FR yesterday (which in the balance I love, it all adds to a huge marketing plus for FR when you have a great product, which FR is), that FRiend is going get dotted in the eye by the Banty Roosters we have around here until there is a full airing.
Too bad The Sean couldn't bring Connie over here with the other banned or 'better than FR' wannabes that apparently take up 'Net residence with The Sean now. The Sean FLAT OUT busted our britches in a for-The-Sean's-profit good old fashioned smearing on Nationally Syndicated Radio, smearing us as 'Kooks' and 'cannibals' - he hosed us for profit - and still hasn't apologized.
I apologize if *I* ever, here on FR or anywhere, made a derogatory remark about The Sean. Slamming a position, I might have, I don't recall.
How about Sean come over here HIMSELF and we air this all out? Maybe you could IM him or bring it up? He really handled this in an arrogant and condescending, ignorant, jack-a** way imo.
TIA,
AFE
lol
Sean specifically mentioned trixie and Clinton's A Liar. I never was clear on why they were booted, but I recall them as good FReepers. Apparently, they're friends of Sean's.
BTW, what do you think Hannity's screen name is?
It was great to catch your reply. I couldn't agree with you more!
I see your point - but no matter how close to us they are, when it comes to voting, they tow the party line and it costs us dearly.
Zell is the only one that is truly trustworthy with the same goals we have.
I will never again vote for a democrat to run my country - I have seen what the democrats do and it scares me.
Life on the net takes a little getting use too, you will run into all kinds of people and not everyone is going to like you. Just make sure you always speak the truth as best you know it and do not get upset if your are occasional show the errors of your ways. You can learn a get deal in a very short time if you have an open mind and are willing to engage without malious.
Its fun to flame an easy target, but all you have on the net is your reputation and if you get a rep as a flammer or troll or lightweight you will have thrown away a chance to be enlighten and respected.
BTW I have been jpsb on the net since 1982.
I agree!
