I referenced you yesterday on the original thread about Sean's show---

Some poster was bemoaning talk radio and the mental health of those that listen, I think, and I mentioned that you, humblegunner would prolly agree---

Thanks for proving me right!!!!

Good hearing from you, also!!

You don't have to do anything. But let's not pretend that Sean hasn't been slammed relentlessly and repeatedly here, by a number of people, long before yesterday.

Frankly, I don't blame Sean for leaving. Nobody wants to be abused like this.

For crying out loud, he said he left two years ago. How would he know if he were being abused or not if he hasn't dirtied his eyes reading FR since then?

But the real question is why, after a two year self-imposed absence, he suddenly lashed out at Freepers? Just promoting his own new website in the least classiest way? Lucianne, move over, Hannity has less class than you.

I agree. This is WAR to the Dems and they have set their sights on Talk Radio & FR. Period.

You have to wonder if there is a major covert operation going on at FR. Using psy-ops to destroy the Republican momentum. Are specific topics (ie: immigration) & heavy weights (ie: Sean Hannity) used to create infighting? (Not talking about constructive criticism, but rather the heavy handed personal insults).

If so, they would want to be as benign as possible. Just a hypothesis. Hey, if they are willing to falsify & forge documents weeks before an election, who knows? Here's to increasing the Republican party and staying focused.

To seduce the enemy’s soldiers from their allegiance and encourage them to surrender is of special service, for an adversary is more hurt by DESERTION than by slaughter. Flavius Vegetius Renatus, c. 378 AD

One cannot wage war under present conditions without the support of public opinion, which is tremendously molded by the press and other forms of propaganda. General Douglas MacArthur

And there you go ... attack, attack, attack. And then you act like a victim when someone responds. Let's see, who else on your list of conservatives should we trash?

Watch how fast we'll all unite if Hellary decides to run for president (I hope).

Sean is an awesome guy, and I enjoy his show. I still don't know why he chose to promote his own message board and attack this one at the same time. Why not just promote your own board? He's right conservatives shouldn't be fighting with each other, but he started it with that comment. He should just let it go and move on.

Hannity is a great gateway drug to conservatism.

Exactly! What a great way with words you have.

HMMMMMM, I have not heard it Mark.

There was some comments that cause us to put up a poll a while back, but I never looked to see who made a crass remark.

I don't know what to make of this and it has left me dismayed and a bit angry to say the least.

It happens at the same time some MSM people are going after us.

We are a bit skittish I am afraid, and this forum has really improved since I have been here.

I can't say that we could ever promise anyone that we will always be civil about politics, but most of us try.

Enjoyed the show BTW.

All it takes is 5 or 6 people getting a few accounts each to start all this crap going. The left enjoys watching all the sniping... it's what they live for. I agree with you completely on Sean. Unfortunately, the trolls have been somewhat successful in this instance.

Let me add something else here. Howlin started a thread only slightly later than Buckhead's post that eventually became a megathread further dissecting the fake CBS memos. That thread is here:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1210702/posts

I admit that I didn't remember the existence of both threads until now.

Keeping up the sterotype?

Good job if that is what you are doing.

Not in FR's or Conservativism's best interest though. But you knew that.

CaL used to be Hannity's friend

Didn't you hear the show today? She still is Sean's friend.

I've defended Sean here many a time and will never forget his relentless pursuit of Kerry by giving the Swiftes plenty of air time but he's got to get a thicker skin.

As for your show, you provide my brother and I untold amusement by figuratively putting your boot in the arse of the lefty lunatics. Keep up the good work. :-}

PS: Great book and timely.

Good evening, sw

Nice to see you here...

I liked Sean even when I was a puny liberal. He just seemed like a real nice guy.

I don't know if I just helped or hurt...

free dixie-the south will rise again my friend (if not already!)
