Each person defines for himself what it means to be a "winner."

The only truly objective definition of "winning" is the one in God's eyes, and the government can't legislate salvation.

Why should the government pay for everything you want or need in life? This is one major difference between liberals and conservatives. We don't think we are entitled to a living given to us. So the answer is no! If you want to leave, then get your own way out of this country. But I just have to tell you, you are making a big mistake. This is the greatest country in the world, but then you are a liberal so you hate America anyway, so I won't bother to tell you how good you have it. Why would you think we want you to leave anyway? Thats silly. We just want you to grow up! But I must say you are the most polite liberal I have ever seen. You have most likely been zotted by now anyway but maybe you are still reading the posts. Why not just join us and stay in America and be happy while you're at it?

No need. At the rate liberals are aborting their babies (and or "marrying" members of their own sex) they will soon breed themselves out of existence. Either that, or they will congregate unarmed into the filthy slums they call cities (ie, the "blue" zones) where liberal activist judges will allow degenerates and armed criminals to prey on them and or they'll die off of drug overdose, aids or other sexually transmitted diseases. If that doesn't do it, we can always depend on global warming to eventually drown them like rats when the oceans rise up and flood all the coastal cities (ie, the "blue" zones).

'll respond, but most of the responses were liberal hate posts about how the right can't wait for us to leave. My question is, how can we share America? Perhaps one way would be to simply be states rights, and by doing this we seperate the federal government from the states. This way liberals live in all the blue states and conservatives in the red states. The problem is, every time a liberal posts anything, it seems a lot of Republicans wont even listen. Most of the responses are "Ah just like them liberals, get out and stay out!" type of responses.

I disagree with you. Most responses have been good responses meant to honestly answer your questions. There has been a lot of joking and sarcasm, but good Lord, man(woman?), you have to lighten up and be able to take a joke. The ones who are giving sarcastic answers are mostly having a little fun. Don't take yourself so seriously. By the way, I don't think anyone has done this yet, so Welcome to Free Republic.

We either don't understand your ideology or we don't know where we fit in it.

Our ideology is so simple. Just live in peace and freedom. The liberals are the ones who are trying to push their agenda on us. The best way to fit in for starters would be for the libs to get the heck out of DU and take a look at the real world. Stop calling us misguided. You are the ones who are misguided or brainwashed is a better word, although you don't sond as bad as most of them. Stop all the hate and really stand for something other than free abortions for all, endless social programs, no war at any cost to our country, and trying to push a totally homosexual society with nothing but test tube babies for all. Give people some workable solutions you envision America has. Really think what the liberal agenda would do to America. Put things in perspective. By the way, I, for one, appreciate your willingness to actually debate the issues in a civil manner.

No my friend, they are not the enemy, they are the opposition, and they are our countrymen. It's an important distinction, because we want to crush our enemies. The Taliban was our enemy, Al Queda is our enemy and their destruction is our ultimate goal.

But the liberals are openly taking sides with and defending our enemies therefore helping to enable our enemies so that makes them the enemy, too. Go over to DU and read some of their posts. Its a sobering expierence. You will see that liberals are indeed the enemy of this country.

I'd advocate for the government to pay for air fare for any liberal who wanted to leave, as long as each person who accepted that did so under the condition that they renounce their US citizenship, agree to never return.

And not try to sneak back in this country when their "liberal utopia" they fled to, turns out to be s--t.

I grew up poor, in fact I still am, and the liberals are offering to help me out of poverty.

Liberals will only keep you in poverty by doling out just enough to keep you alive and voting for them. I feel real compassion for you because the liberals have used you. I know its an old cliche but its a good one. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. (Liberalism). Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime. (conservatism) You should honestly check out President Bush's programs to educate people out of poverty. You will be surprised at how many there are.

I do respect minorities (Actually I am one). I don't think the Republican party does much for them. I'm not saying Democrats do anything either, but I'd like to hear Republican ideas on how to establish a fair society.

How can you say the Republican party does nothing for minorities? First of all, Republicans think of you as a person. Not just a minority. Labels don't matter as much to conservatives as they do to liberals. Look at President Bush's cabinet. Blacks and Hispanics and Asians have very prominent positions, not because of race, but because they are people who are highly capable. If you want to be truthful, look at how the liberals have tried to stop minoritys from holding these positions. We don't hate minoritys. That is a label liberals have put on us and it is not true.

These things do exist, perhaps not for you but they do influence your likelyhood of poverty. Maybe I should give up here. As I see it poverty doesnt benefit any of us. In a global economy when you have ghettos in this country with people who are living in poverty you won't be as competitive as you would be if everyone had access to a decent education. The way out of poverty should be hard work, but the way out should be highlighted by conservatives. If education is the way out then don't you think we need to pay for that? If you don't think people in poverty should ever get out of it then how is the ownership society going to work? Anyway I feel like I'm wasting my effort here. I try to stay calm and have a civil discussion about the core philosophies but many people here insist on tossing insult after insult. I'm not saying progressives wont act the same but we can never fix this country when we can't even debate the merits of the philosophy of both progressives and conservatives. Most people here seem libertarian. All I want to say is that if you voted for Bush and anything bad happens in these next 4 years, please take responsibility for it. Don't blame liberals this time because Republicans are conservatie right? I have my doubts about Republicans being conservative. I see government getting bigger, too big, and I see our freedoms being removed. But if you all are comfortable with this then I'll shut up and let the majority have what they want.

See, you want to cut and run because we don't agree with you. Why don't you stick around and really listen to what people have to say. Sure, you are taking some heat, but not near as much as one of us would at DU for instance. People here have actually been pretty civil. You sound like a pretty sane liberal who honestly wants answers. We are trying to give you those answers.

We've tried "listening" to you Liberals. In return we got partial-birth abortion, a public education system that spends like drunken sailors but is producing the most ignorant generation of Americans since the Industrial Age, some twisted version of "equal opportunity" wherein the Left says it supports the progress of Blacks while attacking every non-Leftist Black forwarded for a high government position, over 3,500 federal, state, and local gun control laws, not a single one of which has done anything but increase violent crime and make people less safe.

In short, virtually everything you people people get a hold of turns to crap!

If the definition of insanity is trying the same thing, again and again, each time expecting to get a different result, then listening to Liberals is about as close an act as I've ever seen to the textbook definition of "INSANE"!
