Mercifully, November 2 was a rousing success. That being said, let's not get complacent and rest on our laurels. Keep on your toes, Freepers.

I see a Clinton/Bayh demonratic ticket in 2008.
Opposed by a Rice/Santorum? A win in PA in '06 by Santorum, coupled with an '06 PA gubernatorial win by Lynn Swann could put my state back in the red.

* * * Eliot Spitzer New York state attorney general # Born: June 12, 1959, Bronx, N.Y. # Resides: Manhattan, N.Y. # Significance: High-profile corporate crime buster is leading Democrat candidate for governor of New York. Since taking office in 1999, Spitzer has aggressively probed white-collar crime on Wall Street. Prosecuted Midwest power companies for alleged pollution (appeasing environmentalists) and businesses for supposedly violating workers' rights (appeasing labor unions). # Quotable: "I bring people together whether they like it or not and we tackle complex problems--not with Band-Aid solutions, but with major reform and real change. We did it in the financial industry and other sectors and we can do it in government." (Announcing his gubernatorial candidacy, Dec. 7, 2004)clinton reborn in NY.
On a side note, welcome to FR even though you've been here since November. I checked you're home page and you're a young breath of fresh air. Make sure (within reason) your brother follows in your footsteps. See you on the board! b4

I have watched Saturday Nite since it first aired. The Show has not been as funny for me since Tina Fey became part of the news cast. She is not funny or witty but annoying. Usually, the t.v. goes OFF when she appears on the screen. Who wants to look or listen to Tina Fey? You would have to be extremely liberal to enjoy her news routine.

Eliot Spitzer New York state attorney general # Born: June 12, 1959, Bronx, N.Y Ugh...I hate it when the press portrays him just coming from the Bronx without specifiying where. The guy grew up in an extremely wealthy family...country clubs and all. This just irritates me.

Much as I despise her politics, I would still do to Tina Fey what Keith Moon did to Drums (before he destroyed them, of course).

The sheep's clothing is coming off of Sen Bayh to reveal his true objectives, which I feel is not related to representing the people of Indiana. He is honed in on Pennsylvania Ave. Problem is he has pulled that wool right over many, many eyes in this red state.

Dear Abby
Please help me. My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the beginning, and when I confront him, he denies everything. What's worse, everyone knows he cheats on me. It is so humiliating.
Also, since he lost his job four years ago he hasn't even looked for a new one. All he does is smoke cigars and cruise around and chitchatting with his pals, while I have to work to pay the bills. Since our daughter went away to college he doesn't even pretend to like me and hints that I am a lesbian.
What should I do?
Signed, Clueless
Dear Clueless:
Grow up and dump him. For Pete's sake, you don't need him anymore. You're a United States Senator from New York, act like it.

Evan Bayh "used to be" seen as a moderate until he voted AGAINST Condi Rice.
He's toast, IMO.
