The pre-spin: Bush will spend about 1/2 the speech on foreign policy, 1/2 on domestic, with heavy emphasis on Social Security reform. It's said he will provide a detailed tutorial on the SS system and its problems with a few details on his personal accounts proposal.
Laura's guests are said to be an Afghan voter and an Iraqi voter (too bad there's no Ukrainian wearing an orange hat!).
Should we start a drinking game on how many times the pool camera swings to Hillary? Hmmm. Probably not...it would likely hamper out typing ability.
Word on the blogs has it that the closing part of the speech is a hum-dinger. Set your VCR's.
Report here on outrageous MediaCrat spin before AND after the SOTU. Pictures and screen caps welcome.
Ron Jr. is a nancy boy.
We can ask him after his debriefing.
Has anyone seen Peggy Noonan on any program tonight?
RETCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lipservice no action... if it's genocide then what's the problem? If people are being oppressed and murdered, then why not take any action? That's what the US did in Iraq.
Same here! One of the best SOTU addresses I've ever heard.
Here's a better summary (mine): Democrats are against everything and stand for nothing.
Nope!
The dems just can't come to grips with the fact that MOST people want control of at least a portion if not ALL of their SS money.
Hell! I would even choose to OPT out of Social Security all together if I could.
I know that I could do a much better job investing and saving for my retirement than our current government could. Imagine how much more I could have for my retirement if my government allowed me to invest ALL of my SS withholdings myself.
Someone punch Alan Colmes in his mole looking face.
Alan is so awful, I just laugh at him.
Ron Jr. is trying to run on his daddy's coattails. Only problem is he has none of the characteristics of his dad. Matter of fact, if his dad was alive and well today, he may have slapped junior upside the head.
If Juan was intelligent he would have left the RAT party when Boxer trashed Condi. enuff said
Denny Crane: "There are two places to find the truth. God and then Fox News."
Clinton never balanced a budget; Newt balanced it for him and Clinton took credit.
[The best way we can instill real confidence in their future is if we follow the true mandate of the last election -- a mandate for unity and true bipartisanship. ]
Hey, Flippy (you turncoat)! Talk to the members of your own party! Stop obstructing the confirmation of cabinet appointees and judical nominations! Learn some other word beside "No".
That would be a wonderful thing!
Perfect!
I was quoting.
Chris Matthews: Was the Iraqi woman instructed to hug the mother of the soldier killed in Iraq?
----
Matthews is a cynical fool. MSM look like fools tonight.
