More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
That was one great article by Pamela, I e-mailed parts of it to Drudge. Signed the petition also, thanks for posting it.
We have been crying out about that monsters HORRIFIC treatment of Terri for years....the Schindlers, once they realized just what a monster MS is, have been crying out much, much longer for justice.
I PRAY the DCF has an impact that rocks the very souls of those in postion to determine the LIFE OR DEATH of Terri.
Does anyone have a link to the DCF team or organization responsible for this investigation? God BLESS THEM!
Someone different at DCF has to be handling the current investigation
because we know the original one was buried at the top and sealed. David Gibbs said in several interviews that a hearing will be held this week in regard to the DCF investigation into Terri's abuse/neglect, and that he is confident the truth will come out. I don't know about current efforts to physically see Terri, or efforts by Michael to block, but this thing is going onward in any event, it would seem.

You make a good point in the last paragraph of your post. Does Greer really want to be blocking inquiries into Terri's abuse by a state agency charged with doing that? Does he want to be blocking a protective custody attempt by that agency? Or does he give a final judgement of death upon her, so as not to admit he was wrong about anything, all the while thinking this thing has gotten away from him and he will be glad to have it removed?
Well done! The Empire Journal has done a wonderful job supporting Terri by bringing out the facts (or knowledge) that break down the prejudice that exists in our nation regarding the disabled.

They are running a poll regarding the removal of the monster as Terri's guardian. Had to vote...how could one not?
God Bless Terri, her family, her supporters, the team that works to legally defend her and may God gentle the hearts of the St. Pete's Times staff (you spoke of in your article as pushing for Terri's death as a 'hobby' with that deeply prejudiced news staff), granting them the KNOWLEDGE of what has happened to Terri with full blown, in your face, unavoidable arrows of truth.
I heard Gibbs say that about the hearing this week in regard to the abuse/neglect allegations. Either we will have to wait for it on the news, or FV or Terri's website or The Empire Journal, or all of the above, will tell us when it is. I do not think this is in a courtroom, although I could be wrong. That would be legal action, when instead what I took this to be is a public hearing on what the DCF has in regard to Terri being abused/neglected. This would seem to be a DCF operation at this point, not a legal matter in court. Gibbs is handling legal matters in court as well, but I think they are seperate. Can't be absolutely certain, though. Time will tell, and SOON.
No MS cannot block an investigation by DCFS. They can do what they like and have to by law.

I often wonder if Greer is just in way too deep and he gave 3 wks knowing that DCF might take protective custody of Terri thus relieving him of any authority at least temporarily. Stop loss, cut bait and run, get while the gettins good.....

This judge has legally slapped Jeb. I hope Jeb finds a way around him. This judge has sent the message that I have more power than the governor and unless Jeb stops him, this judge does have more power. Scarey
Really? See post #4712....would seem the DCF has already been stopped once, from investigating the monster and his vampire attn., death mongers extraordinaire.
Kelly McKibben is handling the current investigation. One of the articles at TEJ found that the former investigator Nagatani gave to Greer's campaign fund and there's more.
This is not just Jeb. If there were no Jeb, the DCF is still obligated by law to look into these credible allegations, and to take someone into protective custody if their situation endangers them. If Greer chooses to pretend this is just Jeb, he is more nuts than we thought.
That's possible.
The mention of DCF puts the fear of God into some folks (not literally just using that phrase) but I guess the parties involved in the previous investigation underestimated the will of the Schindlers and the public to keep Terri from being starved.

No, that was a different agency, the federal one that is supposed to protect the disabled. Look again. Michael supposedly would not let them look into the matter. Unreal! Wouldn't give his permission. The DCF did conduct an investigation at the field level, then sent it up the chain of command. Up at that level, this guy with the name starting with "N" apparantly refused to act on it and buried it. Greer had a copy of whatever it consisted of and ordered it SEALED. SEALED!!! Now different people at DCF are supposedly serious about this one, perhaps on orders from Jeb?

This time FELOS, GREER and SHIAVO are not going to BLOCK or CHANGE or SEAL or SILENCE ANYONE in the DCF---we need to get the Feds involved.
