I am interested in the mention above by tutstar that reads:
Probably so, The Advocacy Center for Disabled didn't complete their query because MS wouldn't give them access to Terri.
Greer along with Nagatani thwarted the first DCF investigation.
What's new?
I have hope this investigation will produce results regardless of Greer, Felos, MS & gang.
I often wonder if Greer is just in way too deep and he gave 3 wks knowing that DCF might take protective custody of Terri thus relieving him of any authority at least temporarily. Stop loss, cut bait and run, get while the gettins good.....
THIS JUST STINKS!!!!!
Tutstar-do you have the documentation for this ....a date perhaps...that MS and Greer STOPPED an investigation into abuse?
I am going to call the numbers again... with this information but want to make sure it is correct.
Seems that I recall another article that mentions Nagatani and Greer or maybe this is the only one at TEJ.

If you google labelle schiavo you'll come up with several results, this is the pertinent part......I think AP did the original article.

Richard LaBelle, a Dunedin attorney who works with the advocacy center, said the agency reviewed court files and other medical records that was readily available and presented them to a medical expert who said he needed to examine Terri Schiavo before deciding whether Terri Schiavo had been mistreated.
LaBelle said the group needed Michael Schiavo's permission to examine his wife and didn't get it. LaBelle said he welcomed DCF's involvement in the case now.
"I think that as an advocate for persons with disabilities, I think any claims should be resolved before further action is taken," LaBelle said. "I think the line should be drawn in favor of pursuing a good faith investigation."
