*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*
The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.
See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.
AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
Please sign the petition to impeach Judge G. We need lots more signatures on it.
Also, I think Bense is leader of the house now, not Byrd, maybe someone knows someone who can get that fixed.
remember this started over a statue. kind of ridiculous, wouldn't you say?
Already signed, but thanks!
No, fv I wouldn't say it's ridiculous. The posts are self explanatory.

You got it...anything for Terri!
Agreeing with you both in Prayer.
well, thanks for ruining the thread today just the same.
I see there is concern over how fast the DCF will move, especially given the time limits imposed by Greer's ruling. This concern might have some on edge and a little more testy than usual. All of us are on pins and needles that Terri and her family be rescued from this nightmare.
On the issue of how religious or Catholic the demonstrations will or should be, I don't come down too hard either way. Seems to me it is what it is. If people are praying for Terri, they will pray in ways they believe in. I would pray if there, but am not Catholic. Statues and rosary beads would not be part of prayer for me. They would be for a number of others.
I also think CO has a point about those who would want to help if they understood, but who aren't religious or who might feel out of place among the religious symbols of Catholics if they are not. I just don't quite know what to do about that, however.
Now to the point about DCF...how fast will they move and what if anything did they do this weekend? What will they do Monday?
My bottom line is that I heard David Gibbs say there will be a hearing on the abuse allegations this week. Did any of the rest of you hear him say that? He said he was optimistic that the truth of her abuse/neglect will be demonstrated.
I have to go with Gibbs. Unless or until he shows me why not.
Oh let me tell you about those posts, you were runnning the board with those posts and then you acted like you became overwrought and then you wanted everyone to listen to you and when they did't it looked like you went off in a huff. Let me explain that it was not helpful in any way to Terri, or her parents or those who are fighting for her. The people you ignore, have been here day in and day out working on behalf of Terri. They are there in person! If you want to help....then help but please don't start yelling that the sky is falling because of a prayer vigil
Ping to Post #4600
That is some story.
While not the principal purpose of the story, I copied this snippet, because it occurred to me that retirees might think twice about retiring in Florida (and a few other states), but Florida is a popular place for retirees.
"......... By this time, it had attracted the attention of advocates for the elderly and disabled, who feared they could be killed more quickly if they lost the ability to communicate."
Went off in a huff???? I had somewhere to go and was almost late. Sorry I disagree strongly with the rest of your post. You're wrong.
Goodnight and prayers for Terri.
Thank you, Pegita. Missed you on my ping list, but I wore out before I got to everyone. I do notice and appreciate your prayers for Terri. Thanks again...
That small statue of the mother of Jesus has been all over the world and I could hardly believe that someone was kind enough to take it to the prayer vigil tonight where the rosary was being prayed. I am sure that it gave the Schindlers comfort and hope. It is Lent and the Judge more or less said that he is giving Terri time to have the last rites. Terri is Catholic and so are her parents and they have said that they appreciate all the prayers from so many good people on behalf of Terri. All I am saying is get the big picture and don't try to take things out of context.
Anybody see the ad run by the "blogsforterri" group? It is in the Shopping section, shopping.tbo.com/viewad2.cfmadID, make the trip, gives some good ideas about things YOU can really do. Don't forget to pray.
oh yeah, Greer lost his bid for "Top Judge".
One of our Freepers posted this, and we should all inform people that Michael also had his parents starved. See last sentence of this snippet from Larry King's show:

CALLER: Yes. Does it bother you that the death is so slow? Maybe Dr. Kevorkian-style would be a faster, more peaceful way?
SCHIAVO: Removing somebody's feeding is very painless. It is a very easy way to die. Probably the second better way to die, being the first being an aneurysm. And it doesn't bother me at all. I've seen it happen. I had to do it with my own parents.
I'm familiar with that. I was trying to find more information. A Google seach suggests that his parents died in 1997 and 2001 respectively. Claire Schiavo seems to have been the name of his mother; William Schiavo possibly the name of his father (though he seems to have a brother named William as well).
Makes you kind of wonder how many others too. I'd have to wonder Who else.
