I see there is concern over how fast the DCF will move, especially given the time limits imposed by Greer's ruling. This concern might have some on edge and a little more testy than usual. All of us are on pins and needles that Terri and her family be rescued from this nightmare.
On the issue of how religious or Catholic the demonstrations will or should be, I don't come down too hard either way. Seems to me it is what it is. If people are praying for Terri, they will pray in ways they believe in. I would pray if there, but am not Catholic. Statues and rosary beads would not be part of prayer for me. They would be for a number of others.
I also think CO has a point about those who would want to help if they understood, but who aren't religious or who might feel out of place among the religious symbols of Catholics if they are not. I just don't quite know what to do about that, however.
Now to the point about DCF...how fast will they move and what if anything did they do this weekend? What will they do Monday?
My bottom line is that I heard David Gibbs say there will be a hearing on the abuse allegations this week. Did any of the rest of you hear him say that? He said he was optimistic that the truth of her abuse/neglect will be demonstrated.
I have to go with Gibbs. Unless or until he shows me why not.
I will pray that the truth about the monsters actions towards Terri from the BEGINING, the so called collapse, are brought forward. And I will pray that the news media is there to report this, with all of my heart. America deserves to know the REST OF THE STORY. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
