More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
Donna Fiducia(FNC). That's her name. Yeap, I heard her say it too--Terri is COMATOSE! Hearing that and seeing the video of Terri behind her.... was that like Baghdad Bob all over again, or what?
Absolutely unforgivable. That was so long ago that these ignoramuses were saying COMATOSE. Then they went to PVS...also wrong, just not as wrong as COMATOSE. Now, to say COMA, WHEN THE PICTURES SHOWN AT THE SAME TIME SHOW OTHERWISE, and after all the opportunity to be properly informed, is positively THE LOWEST OF THE LOW!!!
I'm amazed and disgusted at the ignorance of so many people.
It goes back at least 35 years to the collapse of standards in public education and morality. Who was it that said no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the people?

Michael never came out of his house. He watched us through the blinds and through the windows in his garage. Schiavo told the police that the two men from the Franciscan Brothers for Peace were terrorists. An officer pulled one of the brothers aside and asked him why he was wearing a dark cape. Brother Paul explained that he was from a religious order of brothers and he was wearing the religious habit. Bro Paul said they were in Florida to protest Terri's death sentence.

Isn't this wonderful? Mr. Watts is a great guy. He's never given up on Terri. It's great to have him on her side.
The part about Terri being put in Hospice and paid for by Medicaid when SHE WAS NOT DYING, is precisely why I emailed Sen. Hatch, and also Fr. Pavone and asked him to contact Sen. Hatch...the point is Federal Agencies are also ignoring the law, and Congress has oversight responsibilities.
Then Hatch made this Senate floor speech in which he talked about Madison County, IL, being a corrupt jurisdiction where junk lawsuits run amok and no plaintiff can get justice. So, we have the same thing in the FL judicial system.
Then Theodore R. popped in to say not to count my Hatch before he chickens...to which I replied that I know that joke and truism, but it wouldn't stop me from trying to call this to his attention.

btw/Nice house there that Terri had to pay for with her rehab monies.
It's a gorgeous home with a swimming pool and fireplace. The house sits in a lovely cul-de-sac. The landscaping is beautiful. Plus Michael drives a silver Mercedes.
Several protestors asked Michael's neighbors what they thought about Terri. The neighbors voiced their support for Michael and said that he has a right to choose to end Terri's life.
