More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

Thank God it isn't a holiday for Greer! However, I thought emergency hearings could be held even if it were a holiday, or am I wrong? Not that it will matter for this particular event, just for future reference.

I'm reading to catch up, supercat, but wanted to stop here to say that Terri could never have agreed to nutrition being life support measures because VENTILATORS were her frame of reference prior to her "collapse." Nutrition wasn't even on the horizon as life-preserving measures. The husband from hell had to wait to advance his agenda until the means came into being, and then he could act. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the attorney from hell had a hand in writing Florida's law regarding nutrition and hydration as life support. So many forces of evil have conspired to murder this mother's child ... that's why man has been unable to break this death grip. But God is greater ... keep praying.

Once a priest said during the homily that we can ask our deceased relatives to pray to God on our behalf.
I say the rosary, but God comes first. God DESERVES to be first. He is our Creator and has blessed us.
Perhaps we have different religions.

Thank you for letting us know, tbritton, that Monday is NOT a holiday in Florida, so we can continue calling on that day. I apologize for my part in the misinformation as far as Florida goes.

"While President's Day is a federal holiday, it is not an observed state holiday in Florida (you can see the list of Florida state holidays 2000->Ch0110->Section%20117>HERE. Our state legislature is not currently in session (and won't be until March 5), although a number of the state senators and representatives are actually in Tallahassee attending pre-session legislative committee meetings. It's a pretty good bet, though, that many of the legislators and their associated employees are "taking" February 21 as a holiday, however, as there are no committee meetings scheduled on that day.
President's Day is not observed as a holiday by either the Florida 6th Judicial Circuit Court, which is Judge Greer's circuit (you can see their holiday schedule here) or the Florida 2nd District Court of Appeal (holiday schedule here), so there is no reason to be surprised that Judge Greer's court is in session on Monday, February 21, and no reason to think that the 2nd DCA won't be in "business as usual" mode on that same day.
Since the subject of the hearing on Monday is a new stay on the removal of Terri's feeding tube, and we keep hearing that the current stay will be lifted on Tuesday...I thank God that Monday isn't a holiday."
I believe we are of different denominations. I am a Protestant, and I know some Catholics believe we are condemned to hell, and our Protestant pastors teach the same about the Catholics. I know the Catholics are incorrect :) , and I hope and pray the Protestants are as well, otherwise an awful lot of my friends and close family will be in hell. There are too many Catholics who are doing God's will, standing up for life, and peace, etc.; who am I to judge His servants? He did say those who are not against us are for us, and blesed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God. Somehow I can't see Him throwing His sons and daughters in hell because they didn't dot their i's and cross their t's. [I'm not a theologian, so anyone reading this, don't base your eternity on what I just said. Seek Him out for yourself.] The point I am trying to make is that He wants us all to be one in thought and deed with Him, with nothing coming between Him and us. He doesn't need assistance from any quarter. Jesus is the only mediator, and Jesus IS God. HE came to bring us all back to God the Father. As the new covenant says, I will write my laws in their hearts and minds, and they will no more say know the lord, know the lord; for they shall ALL know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. I see that shakeout happening now. I see Him butting heads together all around the world. I wish people would get His message soon, so all the killing can stop. When we all put Him above everything else, and love each other as ourselves, He will pour out His blessings on each and every one us. Until then, He will continue to let us get bruised.

I believe in the Catholic religion, because it was the first religion that Jesus Himself started.
But no, no, no, I do not believe that other religions are condemned to hell & my priest doesn't either. I don't know where that comes from. I'm not a theologian, but there is Baptism of desire, & I think if anyone sincerely is worshipping God, that would be Baptism of desire.
Many of us here are asking each other to ask God to help Terri, so what's wrong if we ask a saint to ask God to help Terri?

CNN's blog reporters stated that today, Friday, OF NOTE IS THAT TRAFFIC IS HEAVY ON SITES FOR TERRI SCHIAVO BY PEOPLE ARE FOR TERRI'S RIGHT TO LIVE.

Laura Ingraham is not on the radio in Terri's market (Tampa Bay) as far as I know. Maybe freepers should call in to her radio show who get her show to talk about Terri.
Monday is not a court holiday. Greer's having a hearing Monday afternoon. Terri's freepers WILL BE THERE. And, Happy Birthday to George Washington too.
I found an old prayer card and I prayed today to Our Lady of Lourdes.
