There is ONE bill. I was looking for it earlier today, but couldn't find the specific information about it that I KNOW I have already read. I will look again.
What started it was that one of the mods called TEJ a blog when it's not, the posting restriction was lifted by Jim. I think anyone would understand that it was insulting to Scoop.
I've been called all kinds of stuff in my time. You get over it. Scoop couldn't, and on one hand was ripping JimRob thusly:
To dictate who can and who can't post and where they can post isn't in the essence of a Free Republic and as such, is unconstitutional on its face as well as being hypocritical.
I must have missed the clause in the First Amendment that says that moderators cannot restrict the use of sidebars.
But the best part was Scoop railing in that manner - right after telling FR that EmpireJournal content couldn't be posted on FR. Apparently, she was completely oblivious to the irony.
And the threat of legal action was the last straw. We really don't need any more of that crap here.
Too bad I get to work just before Glenn comes on. I would have liked to hear that one. When Glenn is on, he's smokin'.

I think there could have been more courtesy shown. That was the point.

It would sure be great to get Ingraham on board as well.
Even if someone here is available to call her when she is on live (I THINK 9 - 11 a.m.), I don't know if she has "open lines" or just sticks to what she is discussing.
I saw some pix of Laura Ingraham when she was on O'Reilly's show, for an "intervention" with O'Reilly, and Laura mentioned FreeRepublic's posting of the pix. Maybe someone on FreeRepublic knows how to contact Laura.

Unbeknownst to Judge Greer, he's writing his own ticket to an eternity of STARVATION.........in hell.
RIGHT thinking people would see it your way too. For not upholding the Constitution, and flagrantly violating his oath of office, GREER has WELL earned his own IMPEACHMENT.
People who overract in the manner that Scoop 1 did sooner or later are going to find something else wrong with FR, and then something else, and so forth and so forth until they are at an anti-freep site bitching 24x7 about JimRob. And she took her grievance to a new extreme. It is no longer about what is allowed to be posted on FR - it is now a grievous violation of the First Amendment for FR to dictate where something is posted on the site. That indicates someone who has no grasp of the First Amendment on several levels.
NOW is the time. I will try contacting him tomorrow.
And that will be my last comment on the matter. This has been enough of a distraction from the bigger story without dragging it out further.
When Glenn is on, there's NO ONE better.

This is both a Federal and State matter. The national media have covered this case so it is in the national spotlight and is across state lines. The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, Inc. is involved with the Veteran's Administration. That is Federal. This organization is holding Terri hostage and threatening to follow orders of Michael to starve and dehydrate her to death. This is against the law. This certainly crosses over into Federal matters. You can't dangle this in the national spotlight and expect to just sit back and watch someone be murdered by dehydration/starvation. It's morally wrong and against the law.

Thanks, mate. It's not as if Terri's situation and all the irregularities involved have been clearly reported enough. I mean, why bother with a journalist willing to put their neck out to get the real story out to the public? Surely, ego is far more important. So glad that the art of meaningless bickering hasn't lost its thrust. I'm certain that every disabled person who hangs in the balance will thank you for your dilligent effort to keep those helpful parties plenty quiet.

I disagree. Like I said, the last time the feds nosed their way into what should have been a State of Florida affair, we got the Elian mess. Millions of children have been aborted because abortion went from being a state matter to a federal one. We really have to be careful what we ask for sometimes.
