What started it was that one of the mods called TEJ a blog when it's not, the posting restriction was lifted by Jim. I think anyone would understand that it was insulting to Scoop.

I've been called all kinds of stuff in my time. You get over it. Scoop couldn't, and on one hand was ripping JimRob thusly:

To dictate who can and who can't post and where they can post isn't in the essence of a Free Republic and as such, is unconstitutional on its face as well as being hypocritical.

I must have missed the clause in the First Amendment that says that moderators cannot restrict the use of sidebars.

But the best part was Scoop railing in that manner - right after telling FR that EmpireJournal content couldn't be posted on FR. Apparently, she was completely oblivious to the irony.

And the threat of legal action was the last straw. We really don't need any more of that crap here.
