More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

Also, make sure to have them investigate Michael S. for using Medicare instead of paying for Terri's care out of her lawsuit money. I believe that legally, she isn't allowed to be in a hospice under Medicare unless she is terminally ill, which she is not. I think there was something posted here before about this medicare abuse.

No matter how this turns out, someone has to pursue legal means to get JUDGE GREER, MICHAEL AND EVERYONE ELSE responsible. If it means IMPEACHMENT, a civil suit, whatever can be legally filed.

There are many withnesse to his crimes since then, aren't there? And of course if Michael was EXPOSED for what he did then, to many people (NOT US) it would shed a new light on what he has been doing since.

Isn't George W. Greer protected from negligence suits in the pursuit of his duties on behalf of "the people" of FL? Most public employees cannot be sued for performing "for" the people.

Apparently, there is a group of "conservatives" in Pinellas Co. within the national Republican organization who worship the ground on which George W. Greer trods. They believe this monster is all-knowing, or omniscient as we say in reference to the real Deity. One of those reprobates, State Rep. Everett Rice, has proposed that Greer receive a "medal" for his insistence on the death of Terri.

They think that if they can just kill Terri we will all go away.

If Terri dies, I will never let this rest, and I know that many of her supporters feel the same way.

we will just keep digging and investigating until heads roll and charges are brought against those who are guilty.

Florida legislators would be better off to help now, instead of having egg on there faces later when the facts come out.

I would consider both of the following scenarios for Michael's behavior equally plausible:

1. Michael wasn't initially worried about Terri's recovery, but wanted her to hurry up and die so he could get her malpractice money. Since then, he's had to worry that his malfeasance might come to light.
2. Michael tried to kill Terri at the time of her collapse, and needs to cover up the evidence of that. Now he also has to ensure that his later malfeasance is covered up as well.

Does it matter which scenario applies? It's clear Michael wants Terri dead, for what are not legitimate causes. That there are probably causes beyond those which obviously apply doesn't seem too relevant to me; the ones which are certain are sufficient even without adding in the ones that are speculative.

They also need to realize that even if they end up with a little egg on their face because the woman they once tried to put to death recovers, that would be far better than having Terri's blood on their hands. Especially since, if Terri were freed to live with her parents, any legislators or officials who helped make that possible would be rewarded for doing so, not punished for taking so long.

Further, politicians who didn't want to set too much of a pro-life precedent shouldn't worry about Terri's case doing so. All that letting Terri live with her parents would establish would be that a husband who openly professes his intentions of marrying another woman may forfeit his marital authority by so doing. And I really can't imagine anyone who would openly argue that such a precedent would be a bad thing.

It is possible that there are some politicians or officials other than Greer whose corruption would be exposed if Terri were to recover and her medical and financial records were examined. And it is true that unpleasant pressure can be put on those who would expose corruption. But if honest politicians aren't going to stand up for what's right, why are they even in office? Why not just give the government over to the corrupt?
