Isn't George W. Greer protected from negligence suits in the pursuit of his duties on behalf of "the people" of FL? Most public employees cannot be sued for performing "for" the people.

If George Greer is guilty of gross criminal negligence from the bench, he doesn't have immunity. This isn't just about his decisions. IT IS GROSS CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE which is against the Judicial Canons. Greer may have wrongly believed that he could get away with well, uh, anything but HE CANNOT.
