The proper term to you is evolution science.

I don't call it evolution science. Guess what? I don't call it the reproductive rights movement either. Does that mean I don't keep up with the abortion issue simply because I call a spade a spade?
Gimme a break, Nel Carter! Are you tellin' me that the theory has changed recently? Or is it still pretty much man evolved and was not created by a supreme being?

Label it whatever the hell you want to label it. It's the theory of evolution. It's a theory. It isn't fact.

Here's a "proper term" for you: Political Correctness. Take that, and your "evolution science" and stick it where the sun that God created doesn't shine.

P.S. Just where did the Sun evolve from anyway?

"Macroevolutionary theory, on the other hand, has done virtually nothing except cause conflict."

It is the role of sciecne to define our natural world, not keep the peace.

"Macroevolution is a misapplication of the scientific method as are the global warming theories."

Well, in all fairness, the scientific community completely disagrees with you. Everything we know about the stars is from mill/bill years ago. We can even do spectral analysis on the light from stars and know what light elements that star has produced the most of. We learn this from the light! Light from billions of years ago! How is this any different from looking at fossils, only millions of years old, and knowing how they worked? Not to mention the overwhelming evidence from DNA, which CAN be duplicated in a lab, and does prove macroevolution.

According to DNA, we are more closely related to chimps than horses are to zebras. I know we are 70% (or whatever) identical to an orange to, but that's because ALL life evolved from the same set of genes. DNA, discovered AFTER evolutionary sciecne, completely agrees with evolution...

actually it is more of a concerted effort to lable all religion as stupid. If you are religious in any way shape or form then you are "stupid".

This is why the left is trying to make all oposition to them "mere religion". This is why the DNC blames christians for their losss. This is why the homosexuals blame "mrere religion" for acceptance of homosexual behavior.

Make no mistake, bashing religious people is not about mere creationism/evolution doctrinal debates, it is about creating a political scapegoat.

You deny the possibility that God would make use of evolution?

As you can tell by my original post, I believe God created the theory of evolution to weed out believers from non-believers. Someone thinks I am quite goofy for believing that, perhaps many.

I guess that makes me an evolution creationist.

By the way, ever read Genisis?

Eve wasn't created from an ape's rib.

Eve wasn't created from an ape's rib.

Yes, I have read Genesis. I have probably read the Bible more than you have read any science texts.

Genesis 1: 27 – on the 6th day:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28
Genesis 2: 21 – after the 7th day:
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman,
I guess to avoid confusion we will have to agree that the woman God made on the 6th day had to be Lilith, but she wasn’t acceptable to Adam so God had to try again.
Genesis 4:17 - And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch
Would you say that Lilith – Adam’s first wife – was Cain’s wife?

Do the worthies at the Register think all Creationists are stupid, or just the white ones?

Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

I omitted the rest since only the first one applies to your post. I completely agree with you more atheists and agnostics who debate religious issues probably have read more of the Bible then their religious counterparts.

The Bible and Talmud make good reading. They are entertaining, enlightening and reveal insight into the mind of mankind.

Evolution has absolutely nothing to do with how nonliving things produce living things.

I'm just saying-we either have a creator or life invented itself. Life got here somehow. If it wasn't a creator one would assume that the only way it could have got here was by the 'chemical soup' explanation. If there's a third option besides agnosticism, I don't know what it is.

These stars are billions of years old, but what have they done for us lately? ;-)

On the other hand, speciation has never been observed and cannot be tested. You just have to accept it on faith.

Actually, speciation has been observed and documented many times:

For talkorigins.org, evolution is both a theory and a fact. Have your cake and eat it too.

Common descent of all contemporary species is fact. The precise mechanism for who current species descended from distinct ancestors is theory.

Just as with gravity. That massive objects exert forces on each other is a fact. The precise mechanism for how the force operates is the theory.

No. You're just stupid if you hold on to a religious belief that contradicts scientific fact.

In contrast rational religious belief is in harmony with scientific fact.

Which prehistoric lizard has the same DNA as humans?

Actually, most of our DNA is the same. The DNA similarities and differences between species were found to be precisely as predicted by evolutionary theory.

Where do you find the beach sand with the same DNA as that lizard and humans?

I don't know, but since no one claims we're descended from beach sand, I hardly see the relevence.

Like begets like.

Are you telling me every child is identical to its parents?

Life begets life.

So?

As to your other point: Pasteur came after Darwin. So, who's stuck with old science -- you!

Huh?

not to the left. In the eyes of the left the only rational harmonization of science is when it rejects religion. They don't even allow "God did it 'this' way".

Well, I guess that helps balance out all those on the 'right' to whom the only rational harmonization of religion is when it rejects science, and they don't even allow "God did it 'this' way" either...

And sadly, that includes a number of Freepers.

Even if some scientists come out tomorrow and say evolution is 100% fact, I won’t believe them.

Obviously...

I will simply believe God created the theory of evolution to weed out the non-believers from the true believers.

That's a really sick joke He's playing, then, since He created so much overwhelming evidence supporting evolution. What sort of twisted deity would give his creations minds, and then damn them if they use them following the lies that he planted to deceive them?

Please explain.
