A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Please join me as we salute Group 14 of a Few of FR's Finest Military. Some are serving now, some are veterans, some are no longer with us, but all are deserving of our thanks and appreciation.

His father was on the border fighting Pancho Villa, then re enlisted during WWI. His oldest brother enlisted in WWII. His oldest brother-in-law was at Pearl Harbor in the Navy during WWII. His second brother-in-law was in the Battaan death march and survived. His middle brother was in the Korean War. HuntsvilleTxVeteran joined the Army 2 days after turning 17. He was in Hawaii from 1956 to 1959. "The Army might have kept me from being a drunken bum."

ArmyBratCutie's dad, Col Alex S Hall (RIP) on Christmas morning, many years ago.

Veloxherc, currently serving in the Armed Forces. Branch USAF, C-130 Combat Rescue flyer. Velox was in Iraq, and the picture was taken in front of a HUGE statute of Saddam last year in March.

When the technical things go haywire, Gail, you need to find you a high school kid and pay them a few $$ to fix them for you. They enjoy doing things like that.

...and since nobody is here I will just say goodnight. God bless everyone here. God be with our brave men and women who are guarding our liberty around the world, and now are helping to save starving, dying people in South Asia. God help all of those folks--may they be comforted!
