The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views.
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

Terri's life is in grave danger! Michael Schiavo and George Felos are again counting down the days they can put Terri to death!
We as Terri's supporters must join efforts and help to save her life. Terri is a live human being. She may be disabled and in a wheelchair, however, she feels, laughs, hurts, moves, responds, thinks, becomes frightened and cries just like you and I do. She will be afraid and she will feel pain the day Michael Schiavo walks into her room and inflicts the cruel death of dehydration and starvation upon her.

She also chairs The Carter Center's Mental Health Program in Atlanta and co-chairs the Center's Human Rights Program with former President Jimmy Carter.
Please write a letter to Mrs. Carter and ask her to speak out on behalf of Terri. Please mention in your letter that this is a human rights issue and express urgency for her help in Terri's cause. It is a waste of time and energy to call and write Rosalyn Carter. Why not just call the ACLU or the National Organization for Women while you are at it and ask them to help Terri as well. Rosalyn Carter is on the same liberal democratic team as the ACLU and the NOW gang.
Shall we attempt to contact Michael Moore also? Rosalyn and Michael Moore are good friends. Maybe he can help out too.
I think it would be more productive to bombard Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh with emails and phone calls instead of wasting time and energy on Rosalyn Carter. Between the two of them Rush and Sean have an audience of nearly 30 million listeners.
Rosalyn Carter is pro-abortion rights, for crying out loud! She is going to support the Right to Die as well as abortion rights advocates always do.
Don't waste time on her.

Why not start a thread directing Freepers to flood Rush and Sean with calls and emails to discuss Terri's situatin on the air?
Rush and Sean both have been known to lurk here. It makes more sense to focus on them and ask for their assistance than it does than to write or call Mrs. Carter and request for her help.

stop badgering floriduh voter. I fell down the stairs recently and luckily, I didn't break any bones and end up in one of our local medical facilities who are looking for ORGAN DONORS all the time.
You shouldn't take things so personally and get feelings hurt. We are on the same side because we support Terri's right to life and we want to help the Schindler family.
The idea to contact Rosalyn Carter is a long shot but go for it if you really think it will help. It is like expecting to complete a 95 yard pass with 1 second left on the clock but hey...give it a shot.
It would be great if Rosalyn would support Terri and join those of us who respect and value her life. It seems she would have helped by now if she was ever going to help at all. Rosalyn Carter is a clueless, liberal democrat phony who is married to a has-been loser in one James Earl Carter.

Do you have access to Zell Miller or Saxby Chambliss? Maybe THEY KNOW ROSALYN CARTER. I've learned that there is no hard deadline to write to Rosalyn Carter but that she needs to see critical mass of letters before she will jump into a cause.
I'd also suggest that we email Governor Huckabee, Alan Keyes at editor@renewamerica.us and Randall Terry at the society for truth and justice.

I agree with you. Rehnquists commentts on Federal Judicial activism are troublesome indeed. Unless of course it means he will also view the decision regarding "Terri's Law", by the Florida courts as inappropriate Judicial activism.

Yes, he doesn't think politicians should push judges around. Does that include Governors? I think that remark shows bias. Rehnquist is a wild card. I don't take for granted that because he's been pro-life in the past that he will be with Terri's Law.
I think your misgivings are correct. I thought the same thing immediately upon reading Rehnquists comments. Then you are saying that Rehnquist will read Terri's law as politicians pushing judges around, is that correct?
Count me in as well. Will mass tomorrow morning do?
