The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views.
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

My impression of the St. Pete Times is that most of the people there want Terri dead. It certainly is heinous but doesn't suprise me at all. I was in shock from what you said though. Unbelievable.
1-When is she going to be fired?

I left a voicemail for the Editor-CEO Paul Tash. I told him it was one thing for the paper to have an agenda but for solicitors to try to sell the paper by stating "I THINK SHE SHOULD BE KILLED." IN SALES, THAT'S A NO NO, especially in light of how hot button and sensitive this topic is.
That's the pastor who just won a Point of Light Award from the State of Florida. Maybe he's heard of Terri.

Isn't it amazing how many pastors and conservative columnists are unfamiliar with Terri's impending death? Even the iconoclastic FL-based columnist Charley Reese has to my knowledge never written about Terri. Nor has the FL-based Rush Limbaugh saw fit even to utter her name on his 15-hour weekly program. Joseph Farah has written about Terri but not since the October 2003 ordeal. I am unsure if Pat Buchanan has written about her, but certainly not now in her darkest hours. Sean Hannity has talked about Terri on both radio and TV not not since the latest legal developments doom Terri once more.
It may be that many of the FL voters who want Terri's feeding tube removed have not put 2 + 2 together and figured out that "removing the feeding tube" = DEATH! Some are very slow learners. Remember the slow folk in West Palm Beach who could not understand a simple ballot in 2000.
Removal of the feeding tube would not necessarily equal death, if bona fide efforts were made to feed Terri orally. I what portion of the people who support the feeding tube removal (1) realize that Michael would forbid any effort at oral feeding, and (2) would support the willful simuntaneous removal of all forms of feeding/hydration.

I knew that, but I did not make myself specific. George W. Greer will not permit any feeding or drinking by mouth, which means dehydration within a week. I am convinced that she can eat soft foods by mouth because she was doing so prior to the placement of the feeding tube. I wonder why Schiavo ordered the feeding tube inserted to begin with.
Michael Schaivo ordered the feeding tube put into Terri, to insure that he would have a plug to pull!
