Charles Fights Death Penalty for Converts
The Telegraph ^ | December 18, 2004 | Jonathan Petre

The Prince of Wales is brokering efforts to end the Muslim death penalty on converts to other faiths, The Telegraph has learned.

He held a private summit of Christian and Muslim leaders at Clarence House this month to explore the centuries-old Islamic law under which apostates face persecution and even death.

His intervention follows mounting anger at the treatment of Muslims who have converted to Christianity in a number of Islamic states.

As an advocate of inter-faith dialogue, Prince Charles has come under pressure to criticise the religious law that, campaigners say, has resulted in hundreds of executions in countries from Iran to Sudan.

Among the Christians at the confidential meeting was an Anglican archbishop from a part of Nigeria where Islamic Sharia law is enforced.

Others included the Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Richard Chartres, and the Pakistani-born Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali.

It is understood that the Muslim group, which included the Islamic scholar Zaki Badawi, cautioned the prince and other non-Muslims against speaking publicly on the issue.

Is he not the official head of the Anglican church as the "de facto" King? He should be speaking of this in addition to having a much more moral lifestyle.

I think Britain should consider bypassing Charles. He seems to be taking after his his ancestor George III at least as far as his mental processes are concerned.

Something makes me think that Muslims are not going to listen to his opinion about what correct Islam is.

And why even debate with Mohammedans? Mohammedanism is a botched and decadent cult anyway. A cult based on the cruelty and buggery of a murderous pedophile.

Oh, Zaki...I don't mean to sound disrespectful of your buggering religion, but why don't you and the imams just sit down and shut the f**k up!

"or what?" is exactly what I was wondering. This whole islam stuff has to be crushed and these Saudi prices and such impoverished like they were before we set them up in the oil business.

It's just an amazing sight to watch us act so courteous to these people, realizing all we're asking them to do is quit mutilating their women and beheading those who exercise free will.

To the Koranistanis, this all makes sense somehow.

If I were president, it would take about ten minutes before I set up a commission to find alternate ways to create energy, and to run our automobiles. Then I'd start a manhattan level project to make sure a myriad of new start-ups were created.

Then I'd call in the automobile manufacturers and oil company chieftains, and put it on the line.

Look folks, middle-east oil will stop being imported into the United States by the time I leave office. Your companies can either work with me on this, or I'll drive your stock subterrainian.

I'm impressed. I didn't think he had it in him to do something of such great import. He may be royal material after all.

The Europeans are forgetting thier own History. In the year 850, the muslims decapitated 40 Christians in Spain that criticized the Muslim religion. This is what Prince Chuck has just done!, This is what the Dutchman Van Geogh was murdered for.

If the Euros think for one moment that the Muslims are going to give up their favorite pastime of beheading Christians as directed by Mohammad their nuts!!

This Tolorance has been tolorated long enough, time to SLAM the Genie Back in the bottle!

Exactly what I was thinking!

Ol' Salmon Rushdie could have warned him against speaking with these "people" as if they were sensible, rational human beings.

So long Charlie, nice to know ya!
