MILFORD Devlin Mannle, 18, simply wanted to donate blood as part of Jonathan Law High Schools holiday blood drive last week.
The American Red Cross worker began asking Mannle a series of questions.
Had he been exposed to hepatitis? Malaria? Had he recently visited certain countries in Africa? Is he an intravenous drug user?
Mannles answer to each query was "No."
Then the worker asked another question.
"Have you had sex with a man?"
"Yes," Mannle answered.

Thank you for stating the stuff I was too "delicate" to mention, lol!
Those same lubricants used by heterosexuals have also contributed to some "surprises", lol.

I need a new category for this one... called "gall." This is incredible. How ignorant to insist on giving high risk blood. Perhaps I'll just file this under ignorant... oh sorry, I meant "Health Hazards."

LOl,
Seriously, the nurse who asked me questions once stated that low income people use giving blood to have their own blood screened for HIV because they can't afford to go to a clinic. (You can agree to be contacted if ANYTHING shows up in your blood that is of medical concern).

Or perhaps an "Is This 'Gay' Behavior Sick?" category? Or something similar.
How ignorant to insist on giving high risk blood.
I know we've had similar articles posted on Free Republic in the past. I'll see if I can find the links.

Yeah, part of the problem is that this 18-year-old doesn't recall that this is a 20-year-old debate that's long over.

He probably received a thorough indoctrination in homosexuality in high school. In the minds of too many homosexuals, the debate isn't over.

This is not a new issue. It was the "gay community," led by gay activists who introduced the HIV virus into the blood supply, and infected thousands of hemophiliacs. Buy or borrow a copy of
And The Band Played On for an interesting discussion of this and other aspects of the early HIV/AIDS story.

Homsexual Agenda Ping.
I didn't read the whole article yet, just the excerpt. Pretty much tells everything: homosexual (teenager, I wonder what his history is) isn't allowed to give blood, as per rules and AFAIK, laws. Good - protect blood supply from those more likely to have not only AIDS but other blood borne diseases such as Hep C.
Idiots protest. AIDS - the politically correct disease. I guess vicious fools want us all to get AIDS.
Let me and ItsOurTimeNow know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

The homosexual agenda in this regard is clear: contaminate the blood supply, give heterosexuals HIV and then tell us that now it's our problem too.Does anyone else recall a talk radio program sometime in the early 80's during which a homosexual stated that this was exactly what they planned to do? I can't remember whose program it was.

Same with my oldest son who was born in Germany and left before he was eating solid food. He cannot donate.

I wonder if the dimwit ever wondered if the reason so many women are HIV positive could be because they received blood transfusions before the prohibition on homosexual donors was implemented? That happened frequently in the early days despite many health care professionals cautioning about the probablilty of that occurring.
Hemophiliacs are in that group of innocent AIDS victims too.
Sometimes I wish I were a lawyer with desire to pursue a class action suit.

Okay, stop the planet I'd like get off now.
It's amazing isn't it? I just sit here and shake my head in disbelief.
What the hell is it that these people can't see how totally wrong they are?
