...but will stil do 60 Minutes.
He has lost credibility in the News, so he's remaining in Entertainment.

Exactly what I was thinking. He should be outta there entirely.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
This is NOT a win at all.
Rather was allowed to work thru the election.
And he'll continue to spew liberal lies till he retires.

Finally, The Dan HAS STEPPED DOWN from the anchor desk.
Mr. Rather, TheRobb says take your entire 33lb. head, turn it around like the Exorcist, let it roll down your back, catch it with both hands, and proceed to.......
OK OK enough of that, but I can say that Brokaw needs to follow suit......quickly.

I'm sure he's being forced out Yes he is being forced out. We knew that was coming when the Viacom president "announced" he was supporting Bush. Remember the President of Viacom was in Asia when it became apparent that the documents are fake. He made it a point to say he supported Bush. That was a cover his "A move. It leads me to believe the head of Viacom was in on the attempt to get Bush.
The biggest mistake we can make is to believe that the media believes what it is telling us.

Perfect timing by my calculation. We get to see Dan cover the inauguration and at most 2 months later its the big adios. The celebrations here will continue well into 2005. :)

I never believe anything they tell us. In fact, when the MSM reports something, I sort of assume it's the opposite of what they say.

Let him spin his lies for a few months then put him out to pasture on the discredited 60 Minutes bit.
Everybody knows the real Dan Blather.
